It was such a pleasure to work with everyone - from the initial consultation with David, the arborist, the scheduler/office manager, Karen and the amazing crew of German, Jose, Jose M. Benito and Johnny. This company is truly unique in going above and beyond with its expertise, performance, customer service, follow up and professionalism throughout. It is so refreshing and appreciated! I don't think I have ever been so pleased in working with any service!

David is so respectful and knowledgeable. He immediately created a feeling of trust. He always answered all of my questions and tackled all minor issues that I had head on, never trying to avoid and even reminded me how he would take care of them. He made sure he offered me the most affordable service possible. He reached out to me and followed up on everything until it was completely resolved to my satisfaction. It was obvious that he takes great pride in his work. He even jumps in and does hands on work whenever necessary.

Karen was also exceptional in truly caring about scheduling as soon as she possibly could, and following up, always treating me with respect. She would even call as soon as a cancellation came up to see if it would work for me. It was obvious that she valued my business and went out of her way in any way that she could. She is a very pleasant person who is excellent at customer service, never gets flustered and it is clear that she is also is proud to represent her company.

I also cannot say enough about the crew. I was watching them throughout. They removed 2 very large trees, two smaller ones and did a significant amount of pruning on 2 others. Most importantly, it was evident that they were very focused on the safety of their team, always working quickly yet making sure everything was in place to protect and cover for each other. They followed the instructions from David very closely and did a nice clean up afterwards. They appeared to respect and enjoy each other and were also respectful and professional at all times towards me. Again, they also took great pride in their work and wanted to make sure I was satisfied.

I did my own research to find Beyond the Leaf and I am so happy I did. I had used another company previously that significantly overcharged me, was disrespectful and, in the end, did not care about my business. Alan has been keeping an eye on my property’s tree health for over 15 years now. He has never recommended unnecessary work and has a keen eye for potential issues. About two weeks ago, I noticed a declining tree in my front yard and called for a consultation. Sure enough the tree needed to be removed and Alan walked the property to check for any other issues. In our backyard, he noted what looked to me like a perfectly healthy tree as being in decline, pointed out a dangerous branch that needed to come down and showed me the signs of the disease taking hold. He estimated it would need to come down entirely in another 4-5 years. We decided to have it removed along with the other tree in decline. Work was scheduled for the following week.

Then we had that severe thunderstorm a week ago and guess which tree lost its entire canopy? The tree that looked healthy but was actually in decline. It had all those leaves to catch the wind but was weak inside and broke right off. Alan is truly an expert and I appreciate it when pros offer services only when necessary.
