Fearrington Farmers' Market is one of the area's seasonal markets (open from mid April to Thanksgiving weekend) hosting more than twenty vendors selling seasonal produce, meats, cheeses and prepared foods (and occasionally a wood fired pizza vendor) each Tuesday afternoon beginning at 4 pm. The setting makes Fearrington Farmers' Market even more appealing, situated in Fearrington Village between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro. Plan to spend a little extra time strolling the paths around Fearrington, visiting the Belties (some people refer to them as Oreo cows because of their unique coloring), and just taking in the scenery. Market shoppers will find ample and free parking in the lots...

A small market with a great, friendly vibe that's loaded with great vendors. You can buy local produce, dairy, and meats, and you can feed yourself with prepared sandwiches and baked goods. There's usually at least one food truck there too. Local restaurants have booths where they'll give you samples from their in-store menus, and they'll sell you bottles of sauces and breads too. Located in a picturesque setting with oak trees, a pond and beautiful Fearrington Village...

A nice farmer's market with a good variety of vendors. Sour Bakery and Sweet Little Something are standouts, but Sour Bakery has paused attending 'cause of staff shortages. Prices are more than at a big grocery, but the quality is much better. There are some long lines, esp. for peaches, but it moves fast. Masks no longer required...
