I spent to much time writing this for their FB page, so I saved it and pasted it here. If you don’t wish to read my whole experience, I will say in short, do NOT support this scam, you will lose money and they will not make it right.
Saw an ad on TV so decided to check the site out. Very excited to see a 13’x13’ pop up tent for sale as will need it for spring next year. Won the bid for $59, after $12.93 in added fees, paid a total of $71.93, very good price for a pop up of that size. Went up to pick up next day, had other appointments to do afterwards so they put in car and went back inside right away, so I just get in car and leave. We’ll finally was able to take it out of car and put away. The 10x20 we also won as very heavy and very good condition, however when I went to take the 13x13 out of the box I noticed it WASN’T what I bought. I was given a folding play pen… we are in our mid 50s do not and will not have infants, nor does anyone in our families, and there is no way I would pay $71 for a folding playpen. I emailed to explain their mess up, and 26 hours later I get an email saying “Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunately the item would no longer be available. We apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your time and understanding.” Well those words mean nothing to me. I want my money back, since looks like you sold that same item twice. I emailed back and asked when I’m getting my refund, I’m not expecting an answer back as I’m not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling with this place. If you are smart don’t walk away, run. You would stand a better chance of buying from some shady person off eBay, than dealing with this place. Side note, I kept this very factual,...
Read moreWarehouse people are great! Now the bad part! I went to pickup my items last week at the warehouse. I loaded my items and they told me that was everything. I informed them that was not everything and I had 117 more items. They did not have it in their system at the Warehouse so they told me to call customer service and have them fix it so they could pick it. They also informed me that this happened to another customer. I called customer service and tried to explain what was going on. The woman obviously was working from home and had no idea what she was doing or how this process works. She called her supervisor to fix the problem. After about 15 minutes of going back and forth and then telling me it could take 24 to 48 to fix the problem, I asked to talk to a supervisor. Well you can’t because they all work from home and you have to wait until they can get back to you. I drove two hours to get there, had to drive two hours home, plus I rented a truck and they are not releasing my items totaling over $1000! I called another number and they tried to help but couldn’t help me either. The Warehouse could not do anything because this was an IT problem. The workers at the Warehouse have always been great to me. I finally leave to come home and around 5pm get a call from the supervisor that it will be fixed. This call came from Cambodia! This all happened on Friday and it is now Tuesday and it is still not fixed and they have my items and my MONEY!
Also, beware because you pay your money and they don’t send you the invoice and the link to schedule your items! This has happened at least 10 times to me! Keep good records so you know...
Read morethis place used to be great. the employees that get your items are awesome, brandy, ryan, gabriel, juan, etc all work hard and do an excellent job, the people who advertise the items do a TERRIBLE job and the sellers lie about their items. i looked at my credit card statement from last month and i returned over $5000 work of items in one month on only one card. items are routinely broken or missing parts or the completely wrong item but somehow they are always advertised as new. lately they started putting invisible reserves on their items. the seller is taking upwards of 7 days to approve or deny the sale. in the mean time allsurplus is messaging me telling me that i am late paying and if i dont pay they will charge me 40% and suspend my account. buyers are not able to pay when the seller is refusing the approve the sale. the worst problem has been with this same seller causing inventory issues at the pickup warehouse. last week i had an appointment for pickup and when i arrived they didnt have a record of my appointment or know where my items were. this caused me to have to drive back up again this week. allsurplus needs to go back to dealing with retailers and stop dealing with resellers. I am also currently waiting on a $600 refund for an item i returned on july 26th due to a misrepresented description. I want...
