Our 3 year old Samsung Dryer stopped heating. We called Rescue Appliance, after coming and looking at our dryer they decided it needed a new motherboard. After 2.5 weeks they came back with the motherboard and spent a few hours on the dryer to no avail, they said the NEW motherboard must be bad and they need to order another BUT I needed to pay for at least half of the total cost of the repair before they go any further ($250 of $500). 3 weeks go by with no word, every time I called I was greeted by an extremely passive aggressive clerk whose sole response was "our head tech is out on a job". I was told at least six times I would get a call as soon as he got in, but never received a call. Finally after leaving a angered voicemail after a total wait time of 5 weeks I got c call from the head tech/supervisor, I asked for a full refund since they were clearly to busy to prioritize customer care and I couldn't wait any longer without a dryer. Yet another week went by after they had said they would process my refund and I had nothing. I called only to be greeted by the same passive aggressive clerk telling me they sent out a check last week (which did not arrive) and that they had just sent out another check today (what a coincidence). After 4 more days I received a check for only $200.00, why it was $50 short idk. Oh and most importantly after they left the house with the "bad" motherboard, the dryer now is completely dead, no power, nothing. So I spent $250.00 to wait over a month with no communication only for them to come to my house, break my dryer further, and take $50.00 from me. If you value your own time and money, find someplace else to repair your appliances because Rescue Appliance does not have the ability to do so...
Read moreMy ignitor went on my 2003 Maytag Gemini oven the week before Thanksgiving. Thinking I would have to search on-line for the part and receive the wrong part anyway, I called Rescue and they had my part in stock. Not only did they have the part, Liz was nice enough to tell me how to install it myself. Called her a couple times for info and she gladly helped me through the process . 3 days later my boss had the same problem but with a Zenith stove(I thought they made TV's)-they had her part in stock also - amazing. The fact that they were able to de-stress 2 women the week of Thanksgiving, well, there's no putting a price on that - incredible everything- service, price, part availability. I'll be calling again, Easter week this time- need a part for my 2003 Maytag wide-by-side fridge. I'm not stressing, I ' m sure they have the part in stock. Hopefully you stick around, I tell everyone about ...
