I love to come here and just walk around. It is so welcoming. They have a resident Albino cockatiel named Lou. He loves it when you stop by and talk to him. The plants are very happy at this nursery. If I worked here I would have no paycheck. All the plants and ideas for outdoor settings. All very rustic. I finally noticed ( after how many years of coming here ) they have two deer statues in the hillside somewhat hidden. I just love all the thought they have put into this place of business. The staff are very friendly. They close promptly. So you need to make time in your lunch hour if you work later.

A great little nursery on 2.5 acres. And the only place in town I could find pumpkin seedlings 🌱. Several kinds as well. Got a Spooktacular, Magic Lantern and giant. Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to assist. Parking can be limited when busy.

This place is so beautiful. I bought some ranunculus flowers. I had never seen these before. But they are absolutely gorgeous. I found delicious local honey, pretty smelling soap and even some earrings! I love to shop here.

I had to special order a mexican blue oak. Waited several weeks to acquire, meanwhile the weather is getting warmer. When it was picked up the soil was already dry and many leaves were withered. I immediately watered with a slow irrigation overnight while still in the 15 g to saturate the soil. I carefully transported home, protecting the leaves, and transplanted into pre-moist soil and provided enough extra irrigation to saturate the soil, but not excess to have standing water around the root ball. Within a week the leaves started falling off worse. Despite extra water nearly all the leaves are brown except a few small low branches. So far the branches have not dried up and some leaves are still attached. This tree cost over $200. I have planted many trees from nurseries and this is the first one that did poorly, especially within 3 weeks of purchase and planting. I called them up and told them that the tree was underwatered and stressed when I bought it. The agent just threw it in my face that I didn't water enough- coming from a nursery that clearly did not water this expensive tree enough. I hope it survives. I give them 2 stars because they were kind enough to special order it in the first place, but for that price and the wait- quite...

I was in this Workbench many times. and was very satisfied with the knowledge and help that was provided. I was in there 2 days days ago and found the person that helped me to be rude and didn’t offer any explanation etc for what he recommended. He just showed me the product and walked off. I ask him can I speak with someone else. He left sent this other man over and his approach was that he wasn’t going to go against what was shown me because that was his manager. I was dumbfounded. All I was wanting was questions answered as the ā€œmanagerā€ didn’t seem too interested in answering my questions other than showing me the product. I mentioned this to my daughter and she said she had been treated the same. No interest spending a few more minutes with questions. I will not go back and this Workshop in a few...

Really lovely nursery (although the prices are a bit higher than neighboring nurseries). I love the variety of plants. Their cockatiel, Lou, is also adorable.

I picked up some milkweed recently and asked someone there if they used pesticides (or the growers used pesticides) on the milkweed. She seemed a bit offended that I asked that or acted like it was a stupid question. I've had experiences in the past with nurseries using pesticides on milkweed (killing the caterpillars in my yard), so I don't think it was a dumb question at all and meant no offense. I just would have appreciated a nicer response. I'm just looking out for the Monarchs in my garden.

Other than that, it is a nice nursery. I just wish the prices were a bit more affordable and that the customer service was...
