Carl Venezia Fresh Meats — Local services in Plymouth Township

The absolute best place for fresh butchered meats and other fresh items. There are really nice folks who work there who are not only friendly but also very helpful when you are buying something for a special occasion and are trying to figure out how much you need and how to cook it. These guys have lots of good tips to share. They have the type of knowledge that gets to the point fast, which I'm sure was developed after many years working there.

They have lots of good stuff, including their home made meatballs (raw or precooked), but to me their best item is their steaks. Whenever we buy them I always get compliments from friends about how tasty their steaks are and they ask me where I purchased them. I've had steaks from many suppliers, including some very expensive ones. None of them compare to the steaks from Carl Venezia Fresh Meats.

They still run their shop like the good old' days - when you could trust your butcher to give you something that is freshly cut that day or hour. I haven't tried their seafood, and there isn't much there anyway, but their steaks, chicken, meatballs, etc. are all...

Introduction: This was my first time and my boyfriend has been at Carl Venezia Fresh Meats a couple of times.

Experience: Absolutely wonderful!

Welcome: Vinny waited on us and he gave us the BEST customer service experience that we have received (at this type of establishment) in a long time! He was kind, funny, helpful, and just a sweet person!!

Ambiance: The butcher shop, refrigerators, and the meat display case were clean. The products in the refrigerator looked/were fresh. The meat in the display case looked/were fresh.

Food: We purchased beef bacon (one of our favorites), ground meat and peas arancini, parmesan arancini, beef tips, and steak.

Price: The quality and quantity of the food was worth the price.

Will return: We will definitely return! We were very happy with the service! There is no need for us to look for another butcher shop.

Stars: I give it 5 stars.

Great local spot. Recently moved to the Conshy area and was very excited to see a local butcher shop. Very Philly, at home atmosphere inside. Enjoyed chopping it up with the staff, no pun intended. Went in originally and bought a couple T-Bones, they were absolutely delicious. Immediately went back and put in a bulk order, which I highly recommend! Grocery stores are cranking the prices especially on meat products. Carl Venezia’s has great bulk freezer orders to help out with finances. I loaded my freezer up with T-bones, delmonicos, sirloins, chip steak, ground beef, London broil, a massive roast, and even some of the dog food options they have. Love how everything is clearly labeled as well. All cuts have been delicious thus far. Can’t wait to go back and place my next order. Support...
