We have been dealing with this store since last June about a recliner that we paid for a warranty on that needs to be fixed. Everytime we call and ask to speak to the manager he isn't there, the person takes a message, but we never get a phone call back! The few times I have called and actually spoken to an assistant manager, and they would tell me let me find out whats going on, I will call you back by the end of the day, and never heard back from them. Always putting the blame for my chair not getting fixed on the third party company that is supposed to come out, and fix the chair. The first time the third party company came out, and looked at the chair, and he recommended a replacement chair, he said he would try to put a new mechanism on it, but didn't think that would fix it. He finally came back out several months later, only to find out that farmers furniture had ordered the wrong mechanism. He wrote in to the store letting them know, and told them again replacement was recommended. I understand business get busy, and sometimes forget, but this is unacceptable! I just hope they do not treat all of their customers this way! Very...
Read moreUPDATE: Don't fall for their responses saying they want to address problems. I emailed them twice as they requested below, but they never wrote back. I bought a TV console and recliner at the same time. The recliner was a floor model but they told me they were ordering a new console. I called the next week and they said it was ready for pickup. When they were loading it, I noticed it was extremely dirty and had a few scratches. They told me the scratches were the âagedâ texture of the wood and the dirt was from the truck it was delivered on, which was strange since they told me they had just put the new console together.
After we got it home, we confirmed it was the floor model. They know I bought the recliner off the floor, so why lie to me about the console being new when it clearly wasnât. If they will lie about that, what else will...
Read moreI have spend over $3,000 in the past couple of months at this store. I recently had a chair delivered to my home while I was gone (my sister took delivery). I've purchased many things over the years from this company (both from Schewels and Farmers) and when the delivery guys were asked to take two minutes to carry the piece I was replacing with THEIR product to the road (literally 20 yards) she was given attitude. When I called and spoke to the manager, she gave me attitude because "We're not a moving company!". I wasn't asking that they cart the old piece away, just to the curb. It would take less than two minutes and we're older women who cannot lug around on furniture. I don't think this was too much to ask. They have lost my business. They've also lost my sister, mother and my daughter as...
