Let me begin with I've been coming to this resort 25 + years & it used to be a very beautiful resort. Not so much anymore, which is very disheartening. The pavilion used to be beautiful with Friday & Saturday activities that the whole resort could be part of. They would have line dancing, karaoke, bingo & many other fun activities, bringing everyone together for a fun time. Now the pavilion is a dark, dated, smelly & hardly ever used. The attached screenroom houses pool tables, ping pong table, foosball & air hockey where lots of laughs & good times took place. Now there is no equipment to play any of these games & the room is dirty, the screens are all torn & tattered. The pools & hot tub used to be so inviting but now there run down & unclean looking. The decking is very unappealing. The outside area where your supposed to be able to play horse shoes, basketball, tennis & shuffle board, where countless hours were spent with laughs & good times are now laden with debris & down limbs where you really can't enjoy using these areas any longer. The public bathrooms are now locked and can only be used by people that are owners in the resort. I'm sure this resorted from one bad apple that ruined it for everyone. I'm sure something could be done that they could be used again, like putting cameras up & the punish the culprits that are misbehaving & not punish the whole resort. The sitting area located down by the lake with swings & fire pit could be a beautiful setting for watching sunsets, sunrises & spending quality time together, are covered in debris & unkept. Yes i do keep returning because i truly love this resort & the tranquility that it brings. We have been staying at this Campground for 2 winters by now and we love this place. Our family comes and visit and book through the campground office and they have been happy with their rentals as well. Very friendly staff! But please... Don't book through Lake Kerr Rentals, which is not the campground office rental service. My Dad drove all the way from Canada to come stay in a camper full of roaches. After being bounced back and forth between other rentals and put back in that same camper infested with bugs, my dad had enough of it and asked for a refund. He booked it for a month and only stayed half of his time. The owner, was very rude and did not refund him half of his money. That little check amount was a slap...

This place was fantastic!! This is the cleanest place I've ever stayed!! I've stayed in some really nice hotels, but this place is CLEAN! Marcia in the office was so personable and helpful. From booking the reservation to getting there was so simplistic! The "cottage", as they call it is actually a park model, and very spacious. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush and your all set, oh and maybe some food...lol. The "cottage" is equipped...
