We bought a whirlpool stove with oven which appears new. We bought a used Speed Queen washer and dryer set. We paid $150 to have all these products delivered and properly setup which also included hauling away our old products. They did come to deliver our products we bought from them and did takeout our old the old products and took them away.
During setup- the stove - oven was setup correctly.
The Speed Queen washer & dryer weren’t setup correctly, The installers put the hot hose into the cold water outlet and the cold hose into the hot water outlet. I was able to turn off the water valve and fix those myself without complaint. When it came to the dryer vent - upon leaving - it looked like they installed that correctly- however after I washed a load of laundry and put that first load into the dryer- the vent immediately came off after starting the dryer and the dryer heat came back into the house.
Since the space was too small for my wife and I to fix it- we called and asked if they could come back out to properly reinstall the dryer vent. We were told that the installation of the dryer vent was a home owners issue- even though we paid $150 to have everything including the dryer hose properly installed to the dryer vent. A little later I called back and another guy answered. I told him what happened. He told me that he had to go home and talk to his wife about coming out later that night to fix it after I offered him gas money to do so. We never heard back from them. We had to fix our own dryer hose to properly vent but it took us 2 days to do so since we didn’t have any dolly’s to lift the washer out to get into the area to properly fix the dryer hose. When we did lift the washer out two days later- that’s when we discovered the hot & cold water hoses were mixed and not installed properly.
There customer service was mediocre due to the fact that we asked them to come back to reinstall the dryer vent that wasn’t properly installed to begin with and the employees failed to come back even though we paid $150 for proper install. Read moreI bought a set of front loading, stackable, LG washer and dryer from here. Everything seemed to work as you would expect a used set of washer and dryer to, until I tried to run the steam freshen option and it didn't work.
Not wanting to have a tech come out for no reason I investigated to see if there was possibly an easy fix. What I found was that the washer boot absolutely COVERED in gunk and mold, most of which was behind and within the the folds of the boot that was not easily found, or impossible to find, without without taking apart the machine and removing the boot itself.
I live by myself and I've owned these these appliance since June 4th, I don't exactly go through a ton of laundry so there no way all this is from me.
When I called the response I received was that they were now out of warranty and if I had looked more thoroughly when they were being installed they would have replaced the boot. Interesting. Was I supposed to stop the two men delivering and installing the appliances to disassemble, then reassemble, them just to make sure a ton of mold and buildup wasn't left hidden in my washer? This is the kind of thing you would expect any reputable seller to have already taken care of and its ridiculous to say otherwise.
After being told that I should of looked at the appliances better I was then told that I could schedule a service call for them to come out and look at it. Why I would ever pay this company more money do to the job they were already supposed to have done is beyond me, no thank you.
And even after all of disgusting discoveries, my steam freshen option is still not functional. But I guess I should be grateful for that since it allowed me...
Read moreThis is absolutely the worse place I have ever been! My refrigerator was delivered and didn't work. I called the store, and was told the owner wasn't in. I asked for him to call me, he didn't. I called again, and asked for the owners number, and they would not give it to me. I waited, and called again. I was told someone could come out Tuesday, meanwhile my food was on the counter going bad. My son and I went to the store, the man at the desk would not look at me while I was talking to him, and was texting the entire time I was talking. When I asked him to call the owner, so I could talk to him, the man rolled his eyes at me. He called the owner, mumbled a few words, then hung up and went back to texting. I asked him what was going on. He told me the owner was in a meeting. A few minutes later, a different man called me, and told me he would try to get out today, but if it didn't work, it kept blowing my GFI, they would charge me a service call. I was not happy, and while it was not mature of me, I told the 2 other customers in there to be careful what they buy, as they don't want to stand behind their products. I wasn't home 5 minutes before the owner called me. He could finally call me??? He was irate, cussung me and telling me never to step foot on his property again, or he would have me arrested. . He told me he would come pick up their appliances and give me my money back on Monday. That wouldn't work for me. I told him I could on Saturday or after 3 any week day. The owner was VERY RUDE!!!!
