I helped coordinate my nieces birthday party here and it was not at all satisfactory from start to finish. Even after booking my sister and I had to call countless times before anyone answered the phone. Literally the day we were just going to result to going up there was the day they answered the phone. When you book a party you don't receive any type of policies about what you can or cannot do or what you can or cannot bring. Even though, an extra hour was paid for specifically so we could have someone come in to decorate she was met with an attitude and they would not let her in on time so she was still setting up when guests arrived. The decorations consisted of a treat table that included custom chips, candy bars, etc. So imagine our surprise when being told we could not use the customized waters brought by the decorator because there are "no outside drinks." They literally allowed everything else but chose to make a big deal about the drinks even though we still purchased drinks. If we had received something in writing before hand about what was allowed it could have all been avoided. I have to say it is such a shame because they really do have a nice rink and all the staff except who I'm guessing is the owner were actually really nice. She seemed to have an attitude the whole time she was there, was rude, and had poor communication. The staff seemed pretty on edge when she was there but okay after she left. I also wonder if it's policy for the doors to be locked during a party. Yes, the doors were locked! We spent a great deal of money here and to be met with such an unprofessional attitude from start to finish is very disappointing. I have to say after looking at the Google reviews about the customer service here it was our fault that we did not do our due diligence in terms of customer service. Even after reading some of the responses from the owner left on Google reviews there is NO WAY we would have chose this place knowing this ahead of time. We ended up making lemons out of lemonade since the space was already paid for and went on with our party. I have to say though; we will not be returning or recommending this...

Any complaints or requests for help because of kids skating too recklessly and causing other skaters to be injured were literally ignored. Leading to me and my friend about to be assaulted by a girl because I went to ask her friend to be a bit more careful considering there are TODDLERS and new skaters on the floor. Instead of doing anything to stop her, random skaters came up and then proceeded to blame me when the girl started it. I go to one of the owners to explain what happened, but he has a non-worker go behind the skate desk and tell him what happened when he didn’t even know. I was told to “be quite and mature” when I almost got ASSAULTED because I went to ask someone to be a bit more considerate while skating. There was nothing ‘polite’ in the way the owners or staff talked to us and they sure as hell didn’t explain anything to us about music. I recommend never going when they have more people. Terrible customer service and I regret spending money on this place. The skate floor is also very uneven so it makes it easier to fall. All around, I’d rather go to a park to skate than this place.

FACT CHECK They have terrible customer service, let people who aren’t employed act like employees, force skaters to skate in an unsafe environment, and let people get severely hurt on your rink floor.

I had my son's 4th Birthday on 8/6 @ 6:30pm at Skateway. My first complaint is that it was over 100°in the facility. My party couldn't even get past a large group congregating near games with Crocpots etc hooked up. Why did I pay for private party in sauna if I could bring in food & do as I please outside of party room? It was so hot my cousins son had asthma attack. We had to administer breathing treatment at skaterink. I ordered pink lemonade pitchers and got one and told you ran out. Service was TERRIBLE. Nobody brought the other pitchers beside Pepsi, & fruit punch. I was charged $8 per pitchers instead of six dollars. Three of my guest were charged even though I paid for twenty five guest.When I asked for them to be refunded because I hadn't reached twenty five skate rentals, I was told she'd need to see the people again,whom brought their own skates. I suppose all African American people resemble each other. On top of atleast five people in my party has tested positive for Covid. Cool air kills germs, heat spreads them. The room couldn't have been sanitized & today I tested positive. I'd HATE to leave this review on Google. I'd like a full REFUND IMMEDIATELY! *Nobody replied to my email from skateway,so here it is.
