Sol Duc Falls was so beautiful and breath taking. It was a very nice trail. Some parts were steep but not all of them were. You will see many waterfalls on the way down to the very end of the trail. As you are approaching the end of the trail you will get wet. The waterfalls at the end are very powerful and their is a lot of mist in the air. So don't worry it is not raining it is just the mist coming from the waterfalls. I recommend going in early June because it is not very pack and overall you can enjoy more of the national park. I love traveling so if you need any advice or an itinerary for any national park please...

We walked to this fall before our time slot at the hot springs & it was beautiful!!! It does take about 30min there & back to walk it, that’s if your going at a good pace. I would say maybe give yourself 1 & 1/2 hour if you have children. It was so beautiful though so if you have the time, go!! It’s not too beaten of a path, pretty easy to walk. Does require some stamina but it’s fairly easy. I’ll say it’s easier coming back than it is going there. You do have to pay $30 to enter the forest & it’s good for 7 days. So see other things to do while you’re...

A jewel in the Olympic national park to go on trail and enjoy the pleasant waterfall. Trail doesn't have much elevation and is just 0.8 miles. Though parking is bit tough during summer but worth watching waterfalls. I don't recommend to take strollers but easy to carry kids on back. Traffic was moderate on our visit so that we could enjoy calmness of the park! Discover pass is not required but you need to pay for pass...

AKA Ferngully 🥹 There’s so much to see in Olympic National Park in Washington, but here are a few favorites: 1. Hoh Rainforest - This short hike is pretty much guaranteed to leave you speechless 2. Hurricane Ridge - This is a paved hike but it’s a long way up. Take your time and enjoy the view! You’ll almost surely see deer roaming around at the top 🦌 3. Sol Duc Falls - This is a moderately short hike with gorgeous views the whole way, weaving through the lush forest until you reach the famous Sol Duc Falls 4. Moody & rugged coastline - Mora, Rialto, and Kalaloch beaches offer some of the most scenic rugged coastline in the country 5. Tree of Life - This tree in Kalaloch defies nature with its exposed root system. Make sure not to climb this tree and leave it preserved for future visitors🌲 #olympicnationalpark

Unearth magic in every step here. ✨🥾 Here are some must-see spots in the park. Save these for your next visit: 🌿Hoh Rainforest: A verdant wonder, the Hoh Rainforest immerses visitors in one of the last temperate rainforests of the U.S. It‘s a treasure trove of biodiversity and breathtaking views. 🌊Sol Duc Falls: These falls offer a majestic spectacle of cascading water amid serene forests - a testament to the raw, untamed beauty of nature. 🌳Tree of Life: This miraculous sight showcases survival against the odds. A fascinating view of a tree clinging onto a cliff, it symbolizes resilience at its best.
