I can't say enough great things about this resort, we were so pleased with our stay! This has to be the best we've visited so far. I chose this resort because it is on the beach side of the highway, which is uncommon. The park is very clean and maintained. Everything looked and felt new even though obviously it wasn't. We felt safe always, even at night taking pups out. And no coyotes to be found here. I was nervous about that.

We came in late and had been communicating with the staff throughout the day about it. They were so friendly and accommodating and managed to squeeze us in even though they had multiple people coming in late. We really appreciated that. The security gentleman working Wednesday night was incredibly helpful and kind. It was a breath of fresh air after a long ride. It really does make all the difference! Thank you sir!

When we arrived and got settled in our overflow parking space, we visited the pool/hot tub area. My husband grilled dinner on their propane grill provided poolside. My son and I played corn hole together by the pool and the other kids relaxed in the hot tub. It really was such a wonderful evening after such a rough day.

In the morning we were moved to our site. We booked an executive site and we were so happy with the amount of space we were given. Seriously, just pay the extra $20 bucks or whatever. We had a large lot with a cabana that had lights with different flashing colors. The details didn't state there would be a large flat screen in there, so that was an exciting surprise. The only thing I wasn't happy about was there was no remote for it. The security employee wasn't able to get us one. I just ended up screen mirroring from my phone so I'm not knocking off a star since I was able to resolve on my own. It was so relaxing sitting by the firepit watching a movie with the family, feeling the breeze. Under the cabana was a large stone island with plugs, a sink and a mini fridge.all so useful. We had tons of space to serve Thanksgiving dinner and plug in appliances. There was also ample seating and tables.

I also loved visiting the beach because it appeared to be undisturbed for the most part. We were able to find some treasures because it doesn't seem like they sweep the beach like some do to collect cool stuff and sell it later. My son found a stingray jaw bone, which is his greatest success of this trip lol. We found both dead and live starfish. We found a little crab and some cool little shells. I rescued a lot of starfish during our stay lol. Even though it was chilly, we had a wonderful stay. I can't wait to book for some time in summer. This really was just...

Update: We loved our 4.5 months at Gulf Waters for the winter. If wintering here, you will have some wind, humidity, cold and clouds, especially in January, but we found it to be very manageable. The staff here are all excellent and when we needed maintenance help, they were very quick, took care of things and were always positive - Jeff was a special person and our pup loved him! In terms of things to do, we did not leave the park in the first two months as we were recovering but they have so many activities. In addition to the beach, the heated pool and hot tub were quite nice. And if you need things to do, they had them. For example, in one week they had the fire department in for first aid training, Pilates, art class, water aerobics (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), yoga (Tuesday, Thursday), Texas Hold’em/bridge/Mahjong, bingo, happy hour, football party and a band. Another positive was how easy it was to have deliveries from Amazon, UPS, Fed Ex, etc. The cable tv was excellent and we almost never had a buffering issue when streaming. All in all, we highly recommend Gulf Waters. Connectivity (11 am on a Wednesday when low number of sites filled): Phone service was consistently weak across Verizon and T-Mobile during the entire stay. Verizon (2.17 down/3.54 up); T-Mobile (0.23 down/0.00 upload); Park WiFi 119.0 down/13.2 up).||||||Gulf Waters Beachfront RV Resort is our 136th stop and stayed for 4 weeks. Overall I would rate a 4.8 and is in the top 10% of our places we have stayed. We had excellent communication before our arrival as well as ongoing communication while there. The front office staff were excellent and appreciated the guys helping us to our site. We had an issue and they were there to fix it before I walked back from the office. Great landscaping with ponds as well as excellent pads and a variety of site types to choose from. We chose a pretty basic one but the front of the rig faced the pond with easy access to the beach. The amenities were quite nice and there were numerous activities ranging from pet photos with Santa (and hot dogs) to bingo and a band. And getting mail was a breeze. During our time here, the park upgraded to 56 digital cable TV channels and 5G broadband internet service which has significantly higher speed during the day and has been consistent. Connectivity (8:00 pm on a Saturday night): Verizon 2.54 down/4.67 up; T-Mobile 1.55 down/0.13 up; Park WiFi 23.0 down/1.76 up||Connectivity (2:30 pm): T-Mobile 15.5 down/1.2 up; Verizon 38.0 downmarket/8.67 up; Park WiFi 4.56...

Pretty cool little place. Really nice RV lots to rent out. Special shot out to the owners of the lot 705.. You have a super nice spot and thank you so much for renting it out. So far the wife and I have had a super great time. Your spot “is spot on”.
