I got my eyebrows waxed, a gel pedicure, and gel manicure. My biggest issue was paying 95$ to get made fun of so they can guilt me into extra services. As someone who is pregnant, i have really dry skin, my nails are long, and my hair is thick. The lady who did my eyebrow wax tried to guilt me into more waxing "men think this is ugly" "you need to take care of yourself more" ect.. the lady who did both my pedicure and my manicure was making fun of my dry skin and longish nails. I originally wanted regular polish on my nails and she managed to sell me the gel which i was fine with.. then when she succeeded she tried to sell me more by making fun of my dry skin but would brush off her insults by ending it with "but thats why your here right?" Honestly im here because i wanted a relaxing day but left more stressed than when i came in. She made me bleed... a lot. Would stop the bleeding by putting nail glue on top of the bleeding which burned.. because she sold me the gel toes i deciced to get a regular gel manicure instead of acrylics which is my usual go to. They came out okay but the stickers she put on my nails looks weird and looks a little dirty. I was originally gonna put offf making a review and just not go there ever again but my experience was just too strange and costed way more than if i went to my normal nail place where they dont make fun of you or shame you for even the smallest things. 2/5 stars because the place was clean and the owner seemed pretty personable which the...
Read moreI do not think I will visit this salon again. I wanted to try this new salon to support our community, but my experience wasn't the best despite all the 5 star reviews. Although the salon was clean which is very important, the service was sub-par as compared to a few I had visited in the past. I had a regular manicure and pedicure. The pedicure results were better than the manicure. The manicure resulted in small cuts (nicks) on 5 of my fingers but wasn't noticable till they started healing hours later. There were no UV polish dryers or ice water bowls to set the polish, just fans that I I had to sit in front of for 20 minutes to dry, but they did not dry well enough and by the time I got home I had dents and nicks in the polish. I also noticed the tech did not shake the bottle as he was too busy talking on his phone the entire time. ( I didn't want to tell him how to do his job) and the end result after I got home were tiny bubbles and some uneven swirled color on my nails. I had to leave for the airport, so I had no time to return for a fix. I took an ice water bowl and put my fingers in it to set the polish so it wasn't...
Read moreDid not like my experience here at all. As an introvert it’s already EXTREMELY hard to get nails done. This experience further set that in. I went in with a picture of peachy pink velvet nails (pink cat eye). (Last picture included is what I went in with) I left with bubblegum pink cat eye nails. Asked for almond and got it, but some of the mail shapes were rounded and others pointed. The thumbs were two completely different sizes. During my entire visit I was communicating what I wanted, but she did not seem to listen. It almost seemed like we had a communication barrier. Every time I would ask what I wanted she would do the opposite. She was more set on what she wanted than what I wanted. I spoke up several times but still left with what she wanted instead of what I wanted. I was also charged $5 to shape acrylics.. acrylics need to be shaped no matter what.. My friend recommended me here so I wish I liked it more, but I don’t think I will be...
