Hanson Pro Music LLC — Local services in Port Huron

I received my first bass as a gift a couple weeks ago. It badly needs a setup, and I found Hanson on google so I made the trek. I drove a half an hour to port huron to meet the man behind the store. I walked in and was amazed by the bass selection. Unlike other "music" stores, hansons bass section isn't just 4 starter bass'. Don't get me wrong this is a total music store with what looks like all your needs so if you drum or strum he's got it. But most places forget about the low end! Hansons does not! I found some picks I've been in search of I couldn't even find online without paying 25$ after shipping, 79 cents out the door! And after my experience with the friendly owner I will deffinitely be taking him up in his $55 dollar setup ( cheap IMO ) Thank you mr Hanson! You have a new lifer after just 5 min in your store. My bass was bought for me from a guitar center( which explains why it needs a setup and new strings.) I'm glad there is still a top notch mom and pop to give my money to. Remember kids if you buy it from a place new and need to get it fixed immediately, you are at the wrong store. Shop local!...

Good if u wanna buy your instrument out right. It's not for the flashy folks-club disc jockeys-hip hop rap crowd-etc. They don't have any computer music software, speakers that turn colors, stage lights or stage smoke. They don't have the laptops to put or make music on. they don't use plasma screens to see any of the music or sheet music. They are not into selling products to build or decorate a recording studio. Theirs no graphic section to create or market what u made. Its like I went to Disney Land (music store) and Mickey and Minnie (music products) wasn't there. And u need at least more than $200 if u are gonna shop there. They don't do thrift honey. That's real...

Went to this store to purchase an item and was told multiple times that they don’t offer refunds or returns. I thought it was weird to do that but understandable. Used the item once and it didn’t work. Now I understand why the owner constantly told me no returns because I’m guessing he knowingly sold me something that wouldn’t work.

Also, he is INCREDIBLY rude. He seemed annoyed that I was even there wanting to purchase something from his store. It was unfortunately a terrible experience and I tell everyone to stay clear of this place and to go to somewhere where they’d actually want to help you and enjoy that you decided to go to them...
