Comment about racism against brown haired, brown skinned at LIV has to be a joke...right? Lady, if you truly own several properties here with your family, you'd know white people are few, and based on several years ownership, whites are frequently treated with disrespect. ALL of the security staff are Latino. ALL of the cleaning and maintenance employees are Latino. 90% of welcome center/management staff are Latino. I have witnessed Latino families having loud parties, making the pool area unbearable, racing golf carts, etc simply laugh at whomever asks they be considerate of others, and as it was ever so maturely stated, "nothing can be done about it cuz we ain't goin nowhere" If the racism is rampant and something inappropriate was said to your children, why not deal with such a situation as a mother, renter...human being? How will your comment help stop said racism? Would love to know who the "old white OGs" are who supposedly said your children didn't belong here, and it will be investigated and dealt with in a manner without attitude and openly without sarcastic comments. LIV has some shady stuff going on though. We're selling as writing those monthly fee checks makes us sick at this point. Still can't get an answer as to where the thousands we each paid in addition to HOA fees went, etc. I wouldn't rent or buy here based not only on principle, but most rentals are unkempt eye sores...

I love this little community! Overall, it's pretty quiet. However, this morning, as we were leaving to have breakfast somewhere, we could hear some honking at a distance. Shortly after, we saw a golf cart with a USA flag driving down the street waving good morning. There was another right behind... it turned out to be a golf cart convoy. I really liked it!!! They all looked so happy this morning and ready to enjoy the day. Maybe I'll capture them tomorrow morning. Our rental includes pool access, but we haven't gone in, just checked it out and it looks serene. I'm eyeing that trail around the golf course, though. Maybe I'll take a jog Sunday morning before checkout. Our check-in was pretty easy and I like that there's a gate so that there is limited access to this area. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful stay away from home, yet close to South...

An otherwise great visit ruined by welcome center and security incompetence. We had be staying in the community for three days walking back and forth to Kiki’s grill (amazing food btw) The last day a security guard with something to prove gave us a hard time coming back in. He threatened to have us arrested. We were walking in bathing suits without our phones and no way to prove we were staying there. He called the front desk and they floundered. They are responsible for security and didn’t know if we were supposed to be there or not… so instead of giving out the benefit of the doubt they made us go get our paperwork and had a golf cart follow us… didn’t give us a ride just follow us and make us uncomfortable. The staff incompetence is unforgivable and the way they treated us...
