Called in asked for a port repair. Asked if part was on hand and was confirmed over the phone. I had told the person that I had dropped it in water and was having issues and wanted a port replaced. "Whole sub board, with ports connected". I had dried the affected area with isopropyl and tested for a few hours before arrival, before store close. Upon arrival I am met with leave device here overnight. I asked if I can just buy the part and that I need my device working today, as I need it for work, and to do my work. He instead looked at my device and couldn't replicate issues described. Instead cleaned agian. And told I have a charger/cable issue. I went out and bought 3 new chargers with new usb-c to c cables. Took all the old ones out of rotation. I knew my old chargers/docks/computers weren't the issue, but to make sure..... Issues persists. Consistently now untill.....
I just woke up a Lil bit ago to an awful smell... 3am my device is smoldering at device port. Thanks for trying to help, but I have to buy a new phone before work at 7am today. My device is my work. I won't be able to clock in or use any of my contacts until computer resources approve my new device a week down the line at the earliest. At most I will be called as I cannot login to secure terminal to get work details. Device mac/uuid locked system. Nice guy though, issue was not resolved. BTW. I majored in pc administration and minored in pc support. I do know what to do. But ordering takes a while, hence the query for a part.... Now I need a battery. Some ribbons. My port/sub-board. A back case. Maybe a speaker? As they where cooking on my charger.

It would take 1 - 2 days from when they received the new screen. In the mean time while they were working on it, they gave me a cheap loaner phone which I had some network issues with. That 1-2 days unfortunately turned into about 3 weeks BUT I get it. It was right around the holidays and shipping was starting to bottleneck because everyone was ordering stuff. They finally fixed it, but upon returning home, I discovered the cameras were not working. I brought it back, and they could not locate the issue so they wanted to have it outsourced to one of their buddy's. They said give them 7 days, But they gave me a very nice Galaxy S22 ultra loaner phone which had no network issues. After 8 days, they said that my phone was completely fixed! The guy they outsourced the work to, charged All Wireless $125, which they did not even charge me for.
