My chinchilla was experiencing eye irritation, and I wanted to see a vet as soon as possible. I literally called over 20 vets in the bay area to see if they had any appointments available and if they treated chinnies (not all vets treat chinnies). None could see me until the end of the week or next month! Except Village Square Vet Hospital. The lovely lady who answered my call said she would ask her vet if there was anything they could do to see Lumi, my chinnie. I was so stressed and worried for my pet, and thankfully she called me back, and they were able to squeeze me in for a next day appointment. I was so relieved and thankful. I really appreciated Dr. Armor taking the time to see my chinchilla. Other places didn't make an effort to see my sick chinchilla right away. Dr. Armor explained everything clearly. She is so friendly. Since then, Lumi has been doing great and her eye is all better now. Thank you for an outstanding service. You will remain my #1 choice for my chinchilla petcare...

Another service problem is that there is no post-visit support (after I paid 400+). The vet is not reachable after appointments, leaving pet owners desperately alone with the response: "We will get back to you once we hear...
Read moreEveryone is very professional and kind to the frightened animals. They are also accommodating towards the humans and our problems - once, I was 20 minutes late and they already had the next (and last of the day/week, as it was Friday) appointment in the exam room, and were in the process of closing, but they still took my puppy in and gave her the final shots and checkup. The doctor also emailed me several weeks later, wondering how my puppy was doing after a deworming he performed on the day of my late arrival, mentioned above. I have never had such a plesent experience at a vet clinic, nor have I been to one staffed entirely by competent, intelligent, and compassionate people, all the way from the head Veterinarian to the receptionist. Thank you Village Square Veterinary Hospital!...
