Brung a pendent in for bail repair took about 3 days for the repair not a issue but when I returned to pick it up I didn’t notice there was holes from what I assume malt like something hot burned the pendent and left the Holes I didn’t notice until I was home in better lighting there where 3 holes on charm! I called and they asked I bring it back the next day after work. The ladies who work there are all nice they greet me I explain I picked up the piece yesterday and it was damaged and that it wasn’t when I did initial drop off, the lady takes it to whom I assume performed repairs no one knows how my charm/pendent was damaged mind you I have had this particular chain& pendant over 2yrs and I properly care and maintain all my insured items which is why I visited this location instead of the Asia lady in Chesapeake square mall. I was highly offended because for 1000% sure my charm wasn’t damaged on drop off outside of bail being broken! The shop did offer to repair and I picked the charm today, I asked the lady any idea what happened she says the jeweler said “ maybe dirt was filling holes when it was dropped off and that’s why I didn’t see it.” I was livid but I maintain my composure and dignity in that moment but let me tell you this I am a deacon, veteran and federal employee I did not appreciate the lack of accountability or the quality of service I received at this establishment. Idc about the money but the time you cost me was the ultimately most disappointing part of the entire experience like I mentioned the older Asian lady in mall could of knock out a bail repair same day and if she did happen to accidentally cause damage she would of told me after she performed repairs. I have added pictures of charm I just hope that the gold repairs on left chain test as 10k. In closing Pros: they did repair bail, the ladies where friendly. I went to this business this evening to have two watches repaired. I was having 2 links removed from the Stuhrling and needed the battery replaced on the Keneith Cole. I handed the watches over and about 30 minutes later received back the Stuhrling in good working order now fitting my wrist. However, the Kenneth Cole had been broken! The back of the watch was gouged, the face had been shifted, the minute hand was bent, and the winder no longer worked. The jeweler kept saying he didn't understand what had happened, but offered to see if he could readjust the faceplate. They opened it back up and were able to return the faceplate back to normal, but now the time could not be set because the winder was no longer associated with the minute/hour hands. Now where this really gets dishonest is the jeweler removed the battery replacement from the bill out of "kindness". But guess what, now i have no record they even worked on it because the receipt makes no mention of the Kenneth Cole battery replacement (I realized this after I left). So all in all, I bring in 2 watches for simple adjustments (band adjustment and battery replacement), and wind up with one of the two, discontinued I might add, broken - and not just not working - broken: minute hand bent and winder no longer associated with minute and hour hands. There was no effort on the part of the jeweler to own up to what had happened - I had to piece together what had happened after the fact - and obviously no attempt to make good on the damage they caused.
