American Legion Post 0143 — Local services in Post Falls

I volunteer bartend and serve food at this post. The guy who mows the lawn is a complete gentleman and supports our post as the family it is. If you chose to bring a weapon to our post regardless of the rules posted on all the doors he will stand up for our family and ask you to leave. If you come back with another weapon then he will stand up again. If that is what some like to refer to as a “chip on his shoulder” then so be it and please do not come back. Love the place. I've been volunteering for 3 years now and the staff and most of the people who show up to eat have become a family to me. It started with me looking for experience before I was old enough to get a job. Now I have a job but I won't quit volunteering either. The legion has a variety of events and food. This is a great organization that supports Vet’s, their families and active duty personnel. They have a Service Officer that is available to help with VA claims at no cost to the veteran (he can help you).

They sponsor many activities to support members, their families and youth in the community. They have Saturday Night dinners and all you can eat Sunday morning brunches. They also have Bingo!
