I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Birdnow in Monona, IA! Is there a button for 10 stars? I have dealt with so many dealerships, that I was honestly burned out with the aggression, lies, and their greediness over money, rather than my happiness in finding me the perfect car. I knew what I was looking for and I stumbled upon Birdnow Monona, IA, and I drover the 2 hours there to give it a shot before I called it quits for awhile. BEST DECISION EVER! Worth the drive, every moment of it. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the amazing staff. Not the annoying type where they bum rush your car before your even out of it. And even if I wasnt working with one of the other staff members, they were all friendly, and made conversation. Great group of poeple! And they don't push for an immediate decision and get you to sign papers before having time to digest what it is you just drove, or if its something you want. I had a minor hiccup, that was fixable, after I bought my car. Nothing major. But as soon as I called them, they had someone on their way to pick up my vehicle, leave a loaner for me, while they took my car to make it right and fix the issue. I wasn't inconvienance at all. I wasn't left without transportation. And I didn't have to wait. I felt like I still mattered AFTER the purchase. Respectful! That's the word that defines them! My overall experience with them was the best Ive ever encountered. I will definatley be going there again and referring everyone I know. I wouldn't give a higher recommendation to anyone one else. The Monona shop lost a shop manager about 2 years ago and still has yet find a replacement that can both run the shop and deal with the public. Having bought a new small car there in 2010 and having them doing service on it. I have found out that you are responsible for keeping track of scheduled service beyond oil changes. In my case transmission fluid went to long before I wondered if it should be changed.(My fault) Reminders from shop or Chevy would have never came. (Timing belt will not get past me.) Girlfriend has a Toyota and she gets remindered to death about service due. I get the feeling that Birdnow just hates chevy small cars and would prefer not to deal with them. Read moreBirdnow Chevrolet of Monona consistently gives me friendly, caring, results-driven customer service. I'd recommend Birdnow Chevrolet to everyone to buy/service their vehicles there. In early 2019 winter cold snap, my car wouldn't start to drive to work in Monona. Justin bent over backwards to drive to McGregor to jump start it in -20 degree weather (successful after 30 minutes!), drove it to his Monona shop to ensure it was okay/fixed, and provided me with a loaner vehicle delivered to my office. Others who helped me get my car fixed -- Bill, Lori, Jim, Janie, Lee, technicians, etc. -- were all so helpful, knowledgeable and talented. Great job, Birdnow Team!
