Potomac Farm Market — Local services in Potomac

As I like to say , I’ve been to this stand 3 times : the first time , the last time and never again ! Because I like to support local farm markets , I stopped by their stand at Montgomery Square Swimming Pool. No prices were listed on any of the produce. Never again will I buy from a stand that is not transparent in their pricing . Likely , the price changes with each customer. I bought 4 ears of corn and a carton of cherry tomatoes. The cost ? $10! Double what I would have paid , had I gone to Trader Joe’s or Giant , which also sell items from local farmers . (Places that have far more overhead that a crummy farm stand ). Shame on them for...

I stopped to here to get firewood and was very happy with the service that I was provided. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and helped with the loading of the wood. While I was there several Christmas trees were purchased and the staff was more than happy to help out with the loading and anchoring of the tree. Great little place for firewood and Christmas trees. We love this place! We get our Chrismas Trees here every year! Their service and selection is fantastic. Warm friendly young couple owns this Farm and is always happy to see you. It makes me feel like we're starting Christmas right after getting our tree from them. Hand made wreaths and lots of other goodies. Great all year round for produce too! Thanks again for all your efforts....
