Review of the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI)
My experience with the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) has been deeply disappointing on multiple levels. What began as a hopeful academic pursuit has unfortunately evolved into an exercise in frustration, inefficiency, and regrettable expenditure.
From the outset, there was a noticeable lack of organization and clarity in both administrative and academic processes. Communication has often been inconsistent or unresponsive, leaving critical questions unanswered and causing significant delays. These issues have not only impeded my progress but also undermined confidence in the institutionās commitment to student support and academic excellence.
Moreover, the experience has proven to be both time-consuming and financially wasteful. The value delivered has not matched the investment madeāeither in time or in tuition. The absence of adequate guidance, transparency, and accountability has made it difficult to justify continued engagement with the institution.

Professors take 5-6 days to grade your milestone(assignments), which delays you as a student to move forward to additional assignments. Emails to the professor to clarify assignments take another 4-5 days, again delaying you getting an answer to questions regarding milestones. This whole back-and-forth process takes 2 weeks, and reaching out to the academic coach takes another 2-3 days to hear the response, "Please contact your professor." or go to tutoring (which are also students who are frustrated with the PACE program due to vague instructions for assignments (milestones). UMPI PACE program is a waste of money, stress, and frustration but, worst of all, a waste of your limited time as a working adult trying to obtain higher education. PLEASE DON'T ENROLL IN UMPI IT IS HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND LACKS IN SERVICES FOR STUDENTS. I HONESTLY FEEL TRAUMATIZED BY THIS HORRIBLE SCHOOL, AND I AM IN THE PROCESS OF A SUIT DUE TO MANY FACTORS...

After I unsubscribed/left their email list (it even told me I did) AND blocked all the numbers they called me from, I began getting calls from an EGYPTIAN NUMBER which they used to disguise themselves. The amount of desperation this hell hole of a place has shows how worth it studying there is. Donāt take my word, look at the...
