All of the produce here is so good. It is all fresh and you can pick what you want or grab a pre-selected container. If you want one of the weekly changing options for pre-prepared and refrigerated items, I recommend going on Friday. They sell out pretty quickly. BUT, if you want a good meal, they serve lunch for purchase on Saturdays. I had the hamburger and it was huge and oh so good. The sweet tea was on point as well.
They have some beautiful Great Pyrenees guardian dogs on site so please remember to leave your own pets at home when visiting. They also have homemade ice cream so you can always grab that to entertain the kiddos while you shop. Owners kids were running the shop, prices are as at any by the road food stand and higher than local organic retailers. We were planning to eat lunch but did not risk it due to no one In contact with cooked food was wearing a mask. Also it was impossible to keep social distancing if we were to eat there. Tables are outside, but I donβt think it is time yet for a close contact. Milk price was good: $7.50 per gallon with about 3 inches of cream on top. Good price for local honey. They have a bunch of highly priced canned food and hand crafted items. Was nice...
