Purchasing a sofa that will be in your home for several years is no small task. Especially as a first time homebuyer, you want to make sure you’re thinking of all the different scenarios that this sofa will be up against.

My husband and I weren’t in an immediate need for a sofa when we moved into our home in August 2022 so I took full advantage of exploring. all. the. options. Marlene was with me every step of the way for 2 years as life took my attention elsewhere for periods of time. Never did Marlene make me feel rushed/that I was wasting her time/needed to make a decision ASAP… she let me go to the beat of my own drum and for that patience and grace my husband and I are extremely grateful! And will absolutely be back to Martin Furniture New Providence for other home furniture needs in the future.

Saying that delivery was seamless in an understatement! Paul and Rylan delivered our sofa and was extremely cautious and careful to both our home and new sofa not to create damages. They even helped my husband take the window out downstairs so we could move my old sofa to the basement as it wasn’t fitting through any doorways. In addition, they took an old loveseat that was no longer going to be used. They happily stayed until the job was done and my husband and I were happy.

We can’t say enough positive things about how well our entire purchasing process went with Martins Furniture. We started with sending Amy way too many emails with questions on different Loveseats. She answered every email promptly and with details on each question. When we arrived at the store Amy politely greeted us and showed us the selection of loveseats and the features they came with. She then gave us ample time to wonder around and sit on each piece. She never pressured us in any way about making a purchase. Once we did make our decision the process of ordering the piece went smoothly. While waiting for the paper work to print Amy guided us to an area where they had kitchen accessories and told us to pick out a complimentary (Geometry) tea towel. About a week before our loveseat came a package arrived from Martins. It was a hand written thank you note from Amy and a “Welsh Mountain Candle”. A few weeks later our loveseat was delivered by Paul and Rylan. Both these men were extremely polite and careful with both the delivery piece and also our home. Martins Furniture Store is a class act in every way and we highly recommend you try them. We rarely write reviews but felt we owed it to others to hear our great experience...

Ok so here's the thing Martin's is consistently a great experience for furniture and repairs. We needed a new couch and after shopping around a bit we go to Martin's just to see what they've got. We sat on a few to try them out and then Marlene comes over and helps us figure out why we like some more than others. Turns out they keep so many options on the floor we were able to find the perfect fit for us. Marlene was so helpful and kind. We had an easy check out process and a clear understanding of when our new couch would be delivered. Delivery day rolls around and Martin's hits it out of the park again! They gave us delivery options that worked for our schedule and even checked in right before delivery to make sure that we were still ok. Paul & Rylan were very respectful of our property even taking the door off its hinges (and then putting it back) and wearing booties in our house. It was a great experience...
