The pool itself is amazing. There is a zero entry area with kiddie play zones, and two toddler slides. There's a separate splash pad area, and another area with water slides and lily pad climber. The main pool has a seating area in the pool under the umbrella. Water is perfect depth for young ones to play and be able to reach the bottom. There are two lap lanes (that were utilized by kids playing, not people swimming laps), and diving board. The restrooms and general area are very clean. Snack bar consists of bagged chips and ice cream. Online it says no coolers allowed, but they were allowing people to bring them into the pool area. There were several picnic tables with umbrellas, and some lounge chairs around the perimeter of the pool. Price is very reasonable to enter. Cons (and why i rated it so low): it appears that absolutely no rules are enforced by staff other than no running. Kids were jumping off the sides of the pool, narrowly missing jumping on top of adults and other children. They would leap into the area where the seats are, and water depth is very shallow around. Its just a matter of time for an injury to occur. Kids were throwing footballs and other balls in the pool area, hitting others who were simply there to enjoy the pool. When we went it was crowded and busy, but would have been absolutely tolerable had some rules been enforced. I dont want to be that guy complaining, but when you have such a busy place, tou need to have rules and you beed to enforce them for the safety of everyone. Unless things change, I'm not sure we...
Read moreEvery summer here is hit or miss. Summer of 2019 is a miss. The pool is nice and kept clean. Plenty of things for the kids to do. But some of the teenage life guards and management are just too much to take. Some of them will make up rules just to show they are in charge. The managers will always side with their guards... right or wrong. Also, the “what seems like” 30 minutes of “All swim” then they blow their overused whistles and all kids have to exit for 15 minutes. Really? Kids freaking out all around the pool cause they can’t get in. The 2 and 3 year olds just love this rule. Maybe we will try again next year when these teenagers age out and we get a fresh batch. Maybe they will relax on some of the idiotic made up rules. Maybe we will just install our own pool and avoid the issues...
Read moreTerrible experience. The teenagers who are "in charge" were laughing at my 5 year old son who was upset and crying after having to exit the pool after only 10 minutes of swimming due to thunder. Per the rules, every time there is thunder, there is a 30 minute wait until it's safe to swim again. Every time it thunders, the 30 minute timer resets. I don't have an issue with this rule because it is intended to keep everyone safe. However, to laugh at a small child who is visibly upset is rude and unprofessional. Also, every time a plane flew overhead, the staff claimed it was thunder when it was obvious to everyone there that it was a plane and not thunder. These kids don't want to work and got a laugh out of upsetting the kids who were there to swim. Extremely...
