We had a slight rip in a chair cover at our kitchen table set, that is probably 20+ years old, and we needed a fix. We did not want to replace the table, chairs, and buffet set at all. So called on Mr. K’s to fix the one chair. The age of the foam, the thin fabric on the chair, it just was not going to be as easy of a fix as I had hoped. Lisa at Mr. K's was quite excited to try out something with fitted chair covers that had never been done before by Mr. K's, and she called and proposed an idea, and we were all in! The process was fun to be a part of, as these beautiful fabric covers were created for two captain chairs and four standard table chairs. The fabric is thick, sturdy, and stunning in the kitchen, blending with the counters, cabinets, and furniture. The detail of the work and how these covers were pristinely fitted to the curves of each seat and the arms of the chairs was very professional and tidy. We love them. These Velcro’ d covers make the room pop on the six chairs ~ almost as if the chairs have a secret, as they are tucked under the table, but as you move about the room you SEE them, absolutely stunning work. As my husband said, if you want to show them off and have potential clients take a peek at ours, you can do that anytime! ;-) We are most pleased, and we were happy to be the experimental guinea pig house. We built our house 3 years ago and Mr. K's has been one of our favorite businesses to work with as we turn our new house into a home! With Jennifer's help and guidance we have found the perfect window coverings for every window in our home. Their wonderful seamstress has also made cushions for three different window seats and they all turned out beautifully. One of our favorite projects they helped us with was reupholstering four chairs for a game table that was passed down to us from my husband's grandparents. The quality of their work is phenomenal! Tim, who has installed every window covering and delivered all of our window cushions and chairs, is so wonderful! He is kind, courteous, professional, and does a fantastic job at installation! Such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Super Nice employees with a complete explanation of all of our options. So nice to go into a family owned store and give them some idea of what you want and they are able to pick out the exact thing for your house. They come up and measure they make the blinds and then they have a wonderful installer who did a terrific job and even had to cut some blinds and couldn’t tell the difference . Super nice guy and they followed up with a phone call to make sure that everything was just right. And it was even more than we hoped. We are looking forward to one day, finishing the rest of the house. So glad that we found Mr. Kay’s and everything worked out perfectly.
