I bought a leather reclining sofa and recliner. Spent over $5000. The headrest stopped working on the recliner in 11/22. It was still under manufacturer warranty. I called Hitchners. They said they put me on the schedule. Didn't hear from them. Called in late January(we lost my MIL and had covid in Dec). Again was put on schedule for 1st week of February. No show. I called this past qeek and got told I was put on schedule. At this point the headrest on sofa stopped working. My husband called today to find out what date we were scheduled and a woman answered and handed phone over to some guy. He stated it's not their issue to fix bc we have extended warranty and we need to call them. Basically if I can't find the brochure with the serial number for contract I'm screwed. We went for the first time a few days ago looking for a colonial settee. After seeing a couple we decided what we wanted. We had to pick our fabric but when the salesperson returned to us she said this furniture couldn't be ordered because the upholstery fabric is not being made at this time. A few places I called told us there would be at least a 6mth wait for the colonial furniture. I think they just wanted the sale knowing that there's no fabric to complete the pieces. Hitchner's had a sofa in the showroom with the fabric we wanted. We went home, figured it would fit in our LR and called them back. They let us buy the floor sample which was a great price, took a little more off and the taxes there is half the usual rate. What a great deal! Just purchased an appliance here for the 3rd time and once again I have nothing but good things to say. Every time I’ve visited the store the employees are polite and helpful but not at all pushy (which I appreciate because nothing makes me want to leave a store faster than a pushy sales person). This time I needed something that they didn’t carry in store but they quickly showed me options that they could order. I placed an order Wednesday and had my appliance by Friday morning. Delivery guys were right on time and did a great job setting it all up.
