I tried to post it with a different google account but it's not public still, so reposting 2 months after:
I bought a bong from Today’s Herbal Choice in Rainier, Oregon. The “Made in China” label was hidden under the price tag, and it turned out to be defective—it leaks from the bottom. When I brought this to their attention, their only offer was a discount toward another bong, meaning I’d have to risk another $100+ on a product that might also be low quality. I wasted $120 on a leaky bong, and they made it clear they don’t stand behind their glassware. Avoid buying glassware here. It’s not worth the gamble. Their “help” came in the form of a discount card to buy more glassware—no refunds, no real accountability. Just another chance to lose money. And if you get stuck with a faulty piece too, please speak up. They claim to rarely get complaints, but I think that’s because their policies stop most people from even trying.
Here’s the Full Story: On March 5, 2025, I bought a bong from Today’s Herbal Choice in Rainier. I’d been a regular customer for over 18 months, and after searching a long time for the just the right piece, I was excited to finally find one I liked—even paid full price rather than wait for their usual glassware discount day. When I got home, I noticed the “Made in China” sticker had been covered by the $120 price tag. That was a red flag. I spotted a puddle under the bong, at first, I assumed it was user error since it was larger than I was used to. But after some thorough testing, I confirmed it was leaking gross bong water, seeping out shortly after filling it. I didn’t rush back to the store immediately—between working 60-hour weeks and dealing with car trouble, life got in the way. But that shouldn’t disqualify me from receiving fair treatment, though the manager did comment on it. On 3/24, I called the shop. I was quickly told “glass sales are final,” a policy that likely deters most customers from pushing further. I asked to speak with a manager and was told to come in the next day. When I explained everything in person, the manager reiterated the "final sale" policy but offered me a discount on another glass piece. I asked if store credit could be used on other products—like THC or accessories—but was told it was only valid toward more glassware, the THC being blocked legally. I even floated the idea of a partial refund just to cover the $15 food-grade silicone I might need to attempt a repair myself. The manager said they “shouldn’t be offering anything at all,” making it seem like I was wrong for even bringing the issue up. Here’s the bigger issue: They mix questionable, low-quality glass in with the good stuff and leave it up to customers to gamble. There are no clear labels or signs to distinguish between brands, countries of origin, or quality tiers. If they really carried only high-quality bongs, they’d have a vendor to back them up when issues like mine come up—but clearly, that’s not the case. The manager claimed they don’t get many complaints, but that’s likely because of their front-line response: “glass sales are final.” That shuts people down before they even have a chance to be heard.
After my visit, I called several Portland-area dispensaries. All of them said they would’ve either swapped the bong or found a better solution, depending on each case of course. Unfortunately, Today’s Herbal Choice wouldn’t consider that. They only offered a 40% discount—but keep in mind, they already do 20% off glass once a week, so it’s really not that generous, all things considered.
Bottom line: I paid $120 for a defective bong. Their solution? Pay more and roll the dice again on another one, with zero guarantee. I expected more from a business I’ve supported for over a year and a half.
Final Thought: This could have been a small issue with a small fix. Instead, I’m left with a useless piece of glass, no confidence in their quality, and the sense that loyalty counts for nothing. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I recommend you do the same—especially if you’re shopping...

I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL CARTRIDGES RECENTLY AND YOU APPARENTLY HAVE NO RECORD OF THOSE SALES EVEN THOUGH WE PURCHASED THEM UNDER A MEDICAL ACCOUNT I BUY THEM ALL THE TIME AND SOME HAVE APPEARED TO POSSIBLY HAVE BEEN ALREADY USED OR NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT BTW IT WASNT ANY ONE PURCHASE THAT PROMPTED THIS REVIEW IT WAS A SERIES OF BAD EXPERIENCES INCLUDING BEING OVERCHARGED AND CHARGED TWICE AS MUCH FOR AN ITEM I CAN GET DOWN THE ROAD FOR HALF AS MUCH I HAVE NEVER SENT YOU ANY EMAILS, EVER IM NOT COMPLAINING BECAUSE YOU DIDNT GET MY PRODUCT I DONT MIND DRIVING TO GET IT I JUST THINK ITS A SHAME THAT WE HAVE TO TAKE OUR $ TO ANOTHER COMMUNITY WHEN I PREFER TO SPEND MY MONEY IN THE COMMUNITY WHERE I LIVE THANKS This place has completely lost my business, by not honoring advertised deals, overcharging, suspect cartridges being sold, the more I tip the lighter they weigh my product. I had to drive to Portland to get a few ounces of a better product that I've request they try getting multilpe times. Its a shame because we purchase a lot and have been having to drive to other places and getting much better products and service. It's been sketchy on and off but I'm done trying to...
Read moreCame in today April 16th around 8 pm and heather initially helped us. We asked her if she was familiar with the brands koru or avitas.. she said she was however she then went on to try and sell us packs of joints.. never the same thing or even close.. I had to repeatedly tell her more then 3 time I did not want packs.. that I was looking for a regular non infused bud joint. She again went on with the packs and now offered me infused joints as well.. that I specifically had said multiple times I was not interested in. Once I repeated myself once more she got upset and proceeded to tell me she wasn’t stupid that she knew what she was talking about. I informed her that my brother owns a dispensary in the Portland metro area and that I knew the packs were no good that’s why I wasn’t interested in them.. another coworker came up at that point unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was so much help and was really nice and respectful. Long story short if I walk in and heathers working I’m walking out but otherwise I will come to spend me money here.. the four star review is only because of the second employee who stepped in and did a great job. This would be five stars had I not had that...
