We used Geo’s Marble & Granite for our kitchen and bath remodel. The owner, George, was amazing in helping us decide what colors to go with since this was our first time dealing with granite. My wife and I met him on a Saturday morning as our schedules are just too hectic during the week. He was more than happy to open the showroom to help us. We brought our cabinet sample to aid in choosing the perfect color and George helped us by pointing out several popular options that would match our cabinets. He let us look at every color of granite, he has many variations and levels to choose from, and answered all our questions as we decided on which one would work for us. We decided that day to go with a beautiful granite, Delicatus Extra, that matched our off-white cabinets perfectly. Following that meeting, my wife and I searched for the tile flooring we wanted to use and needed it to match the countertops as well. We made another Saturday appointment with George to see the granite and make our decision. We had 6 or 7 samples of tile and laid all but one, that we thought wouldn’t match, in front of the slab. None seemed just right and George suggested a white or cream travertine which happened to be the one we thought wouldn’t match. The tile was placed near the granite and George said, “That’s the one. It will look beautiful.” Well, he was 100% right; it was the PERFECT choice. He has an eye for design and thankfully steered us in the right direction. George came out to our house to measure for the countertops as my cabinet installer was finishing up. He measured and measured to get it perfect. Frustrated, I went to Google and saw all the 5 star reviews for Geo's Marble & Granite. Stopped by another local granite shop Saturday on my way to Geo's and was again frustrated by the lack of assistance. Finally found my way to Geo's and was glad I did.
Reviewers had commented how George had provided constructive advice and saved them from making a costly mistake. For the record, no other granite place I visited would provide any commentary or advice on my selections. I wanted to use different surfaces for island and counter tops and was terrified of making the wrong choice and regretting my decision but having to live with it due to the cost. As promised by other reviewers, George was very honest about my selections and steered me gently into a different direction which turned out to be the very right choice. He does this for a living, so you have to trust him. He won't steer you wrong.
As for the process, it went off without a hitch. George showed up when he said he would to template the space. The stone showed up when he said it would and a great crew installed it. They were very polite, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job on the installation. To top it all off, the price was unbeatable!

   Read moreThe installation and product quality of our bathroom countertop from Geo’s deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the customer service deserves zero. In addition to being slow to return phone calls and emails, and our countertop arriving to be installed with literally 15 minutes notice, ineffective customer service led us to believe we were choosing one of two finishes for a product that in actuality doesn’t exist. What should have been communicated as “there is a range of variety in how the finished product will look” was instead described to me on more than one occasion as “you can pick between A and B.” Miscommunications certainly happen, and this seems to be the result of an inadequately educated employee who I learned is no longer employed by the company. When I called to express frustrations and figure out what had happened, the response I received was completely lacking in any sort of understanding, or genuine apology and instead contained a list of reasons why things are hard on their end. Very sour end to what had been an otherwise positive experience, and thankfully the end product is of expected quality, but I would not work...
