Attended the Mind Body Spirit Expo here which is a yearly event. $12 gets you in for both days. Large variety of vendors selling products that promote physical and spiritual well being. Expo offers free one hour classes that go on all day for both days. In class a vendor explains their product or service and gives you a demonstration. Vendors offer a variety of options such as crystals, jewelry, healings, readings, all natural healing and skin care products. Plenty of parking and friendly atmosphere. They also have a food counter inside serving quick food and drinks.

This is a pretty cool part of the North Carolina State fair, as this building is home to many prize-winning art displays, as well as various different booths with unique products and services, including some from the state government, that you won't find anywhere else at the fair! I even met the elevator lady (Former NCDOL Commissioner Cherie Berry) here in 2019!

The Fair was an interesting first experience for me. I killed a few hours there. I don't think it was diverse enough to keep me coming back year after year but everyone should definitely attend it once.

Kerr Scott Building at the NC State Fair Grounds – Went to the Military Antique Show and let me tell you, it felt like I accidentally walked into a secret time machine. One minute I’m in Raleigh, the next I’m holding a helmet that might’ve seen more action than my high school report cards. The place was stacked wall-to-wall with history—uniforms, medals, gear, and enough stories to keep you talking until next year’s fair.

The vendors? Absolute pros. They could probably identify a rusty button from 200 yards away and tell you which general sneezed on it back in 1944. The building itself was clean, roomy, and easy to move around in, which is a miracle when you’ve got a crowd of history buffs all marching in step like it’s roll call.

And here’s the kicker—I only meant to ā€œpeek in for an hour.ā€ Four hours later, I stumbled out with a head full of history, a grin on my face, and a shopping bag heavier than a soldier’s rucksack.

Huge appreciation to the folks who keep this event rolling—it’s fun, fascinating, and worth...

We went for an event. The area was clean with well marked areas, such as the restrooms. Although we had to park a distance from the building, there were well marked spaces and the lot was mostly maintained. The building was at a good temperature, even though it was cool and sprinkling outside we were able to take off our jackets and be comfortable. The expo was spaced well with plenty of room for two way walking and...
