Wonderful store with competitive prices. The produce is great here. I love the selection of orchids, succulents and various small plants. I always get the huge portobello mushrooms to use as hamburgers or to season and grill. They have the largest mushrooms compared to the surrounding grocery stores here. I always stock up on the corn soup. The tortilla chips are really good for the price to be so low. I noticed the price on frozen pizza isn't as high as other stores. I always get the packaged slice cheeses, milk and eggs at this location because they are so much cheaper and they have the best pepper jack cheese. I always find really amazing deals in the clearance section. I found some marked down ghost pepper and garlic hot sauces for under a dollar. I also found some thermal tights in my size on sale for 4 dollars. I recently found some French made rose soap and patchouli soaps. The patchouli does have activated charcoal so it stains, but for 2 dollars the soap is well worth it and gets tour skin super clean and keeps it soft. I use the rose on my face. Not sure if the soaps are vegan but they cleanse without a lot of ingredients, do not leave a film on your skin and don't disturb your natural microbes. The iams brand cat food is a dollar less here compared to walmart. I visit this location often and the staff is always friendly and the store is always clean and well stocked. The parking lot is usually clean except for the disrespectful people that throw their used masks on the ground. But the store does keep...
Read moreI was overall pleased with the store layout the cleanliness products that were offered in pricing I was very disappointed about the service as it lacked which is why I only gave three stars had the service been better I would have left five it being my first time shopping in here I got the impression it was similar to Aldi‘s so when I was ready to check out I went to produce and saw a box that literally had one squash left in it so I grabbed the one squash and put it in another box with squash is next to it and I grab the empty box and put it in my cart when I went down another aisle to grab one more thing and turned out of the aisle there was an associate that was kind of tall had what I believe was dreads and I think it was a female she snatched the box out of my car and told me I was not supposed to take this and then I had to buy bags I just thought this was extremely rude not a way for her to handle situation especially because it was just a box and it was my first time ever shopping in a lidls . The cashier guy also like customer service he didn’t speak a word and actually used his hands to gesture me when I didn’t know I was supposed to scan a QR code that I had and he looked almost annoyed with me the entire time me personally being in retail over 10 years these kinds of things to stand out in a definitely reflects back on...
Read moreI recently had an unacceptable experience at Lidl on New Hope and Buffalo. While waiting in line, lane 4 was said to be opening, so I moved there—only for it to remain empty. After standing there with no assistance, an employee finally appeared, but at a completely different register on the opposite end. Instead of acknowledging the confusion, she blamed me for the situation, offering no real explanation or help.
When I sought clarification, I was further met with dismissive and unprofessional behavior. A male employee, supposedly the manager, kept his back turned to me and casually stated he was only handling returns, completely avoiding any responsibility for the issue. Then, without warning, another employee approached from behind and bluntly told me to leave, rather than addressing my concerns.
I absolutely refuse to accept this kind of treatment as a paying customer. No one should be mocked, laughed at, dismissed, or treated as if their concerns don't matter at all. Lidl must take immediate steps to address this poor customer service and ensure that every person who enters their store is treated with basic respect and...
