Got recommended by a friend and seen the reviews though I’d give it a try. Beef steak is extremely chewy, not a good option. Chicken was seasoned well and good texture. Portion sizes are small. Lots of rice. Little chicken. The price doesn’t justify the portions at all. I was also thrown off by customer service over the phone. They were extremely busy, I understand, but you still should try to serve all your customers with a minimal standard. I have no respect for any establishment that is rude over the phone or in person. In-n-out and Chik fil are 20x more busy than this place, and they at least have some decency. The guy over the phone was passive, trying to put the phone down, and didn’t offer plate recommendations. Said “they’re all popular”. Like yea dude, I know. It’s my first time. U work there. Just give me a plate, I’m not picky and have no allergies. I would’ve picked anything you said. This is the problem when restaurants get too big and busy, the demand is so high, that they neglect customer service. Clearly doesn’t deserve 4.8. It’s decent, but 4.4 is the correct rating. The food: I got a chicken shawarma. The chicken was nothing to rave about, not seasoned that much and was a bit dry. The only saving grace for the shawarma was that the sauce was very good-- but there wasn't much of it. Vegetables were alright. Overall I would give the food a 3/5.

The value: the shawarma was on the smaller side and for $9 before tax it is hard to justify the mediocre shawarma. I wasn't even full and if I spent $9 at another mediterranean restaurant then I would have close to double the amount of food. I give the value a 2/5.

The service: this is the main reason I kicked this review down to one star, only ONE employee was wearing a mask. And even then he wasn't wearing the mask correctly. I love this place. Stopped here on whim once and was immediately impressed by the quality of their meats. Their chicken thighs are some of the best chicken I've ever had. They also have some of the best customer service I've ever received.

One time I came in to get some food, and they were moderately busy so it was taking a while for me to get my food. I think I'd only been waiting for about 12 minutes or so, maybe longer, but I wasn't upset at all by the wait, I could see they were busy. However, when they finally brought my food out the guy at the counter put down cash equal to the amount I paid for my meal, and apologized for the wait. I have NEVER had a place do this for me.
