The touch screen of the radio & navigation system on my old 2010 Toyota went out. I called the Toyota dealer and they recommended Radio Medics. I set up an appointment with Radio Medics and visited them out near the big car junkyard on south Sunrise Blvd in Rancho Cordova. Radio Medics does an excellent job of fixing issues with current car radio, satellite, and navigation systems! Their focus is not car stereo installs. I arrived to a comfortable, clean, and nicely appointed lobby. I was warmly greeted very quickly by Johnathan who is clearly very adept at handling multiple customers in a very professional way. Johnathan informed me of what he would be checking on my system and why. Johnathan kept me updated along the way during the repair. He took the extra time to do an in-depth debug on my Sirius XM portion of the system that had failed a while ago. He found the issue among four different satellite radio components that could cause the problem. Radio Medics did an excellent professional job of finding and fixing the problems at a reasonable price. The new touch screen works great! I am waiting on a further quote from them to replace the Sirius XM module. I highly recommend Radio Medics for any car radio or navigation system problems. Looks like they are the go to place for...
Read moreWhere do I start? These people saved the day with my 2010 Toyota Sequoia JBL E7026 head unit. Apparently toyota didn't do enough R&D on these particular units with the navi system. The common issue with these "Denso" units is the dvd drive just fails. My dvd navi unit pretty much took a dump and caused other issues with the head unit. I found these guys online and read the other reviews and figured I would give them a shot!! My god they saved me sooooooooo much coin due to the replacement cost of these units. The JBL E7026 is roughly 1500 brand new. Other sites were saying 400-600 just to fix the drive unit. I sent my unit to them (I live in Colorado). When they received my head unit I was called by one of the techs and they explained everything to me and when I was told the cost I was blown away because it was a reasonable cost to fix my head unit. (My cost was 290 that also included my return shipping). I will be a forever customer with these folks. They definitely saved me tons of coin they were prompt fast and they were very very fast on communication. Thanks again guys!! You deserve more than than a 5 star review. If there was more stars i would give them all. They have my...
Read moreOriginally went there because I was having issues with the head unit and radio not working. Vehicle 2004 acura tsx. Took it to the dealership first and dealership advised me to use radiomedic. Called radio medic about my head unit issues. They told me to bring in the vehicle. They checked it out and told me if I wanted my head unit fixed (because I wanted my radio to work) I would have to get the navigation unit fixed since they both use the head unit. I spent about 620 for them the fix the navigation so my headunit and radio would work. Fast forward a year, now having issues with the radio and navigation again. Gave them a call and they want to charge me again for a diagnose and to get it fixed when it's under warranty. I told them it should be under warranty. They looked up the notes THEY took and said we only worked on the navigation. Reminder I told them I wanted the head unit fixed and THEY said it was the navigation when I really just wanted my radio/head unit to work. Should of never went there, should of invested in new head unit but the honda enthusiast in me wanted to keep it original. Recommendation, just invest in an...
