Overall my experience with this rental company was extremely poor. Initially when booking a Waterslide with the guy he stated due to his lack of drivers in my area he would need to drop off the slide Friday the day before and then pick up Sunday/ Monday. I understood and agreed to this arrangement. Four days prior to my party I reached out to him to touch bases with him in regards to what time he would be dropping off the slide on Friday, as previously discussed. He stated what time he would be dropping it off and then added he would be needing to pick up the rental Saturday night around “7-8pm or so because he booked another party for the next day.” I pointed out to him how my party was starting at 3pm and requested to have the Waterslide picked up only an hour later, at 9pm, as to avoid any disruption to my party. I felt like I was being reasonable and meeting him in the middle, considering this was the first I was hearing about the change in plans. He proceed to explain to me how this was “impossible” because he had to pick up other jumpers in LA around that time. I totally understand that I am not the only client he services but this was different from what was originally agreed upon and the moment he knew there was a change in plans he should have notified me immediately as to allow me to consider the change and possibly make other arrangements for my daughters 1st birthday party. Unfortunately his lack of resources and booking capabilities lead to the conflict in bookings for the jumper. I am a paying customer that booked weeks in advance. This other party that was booked the following day was not booked at the time I booked my service. I tried to explain to him how I felt it unfair that my jumper time would have to be cut shorter than the originally agreed upon time as it was not my fault he over booked himself with the lack of resources he had. He proceeded to tell threaten you refund me my money and cancel my rental because he could not accommodate me for one extra hour for his lack of communication of the change. I then proceeded to tell him “no it’s fine I’ll agree to the 8pm pick up” and explained to him how it would be extremely inconvenient for me to have to find something so last minute (4 days before my party ). He did not care and showed zero compassion for him going back on his word. I begged him multiple times and stated how he felt I would give him a hard time when pick up the jumper. Which I replied I wouldn’t. He then began to get unprofessional and state “ This is how I pay my rent and feed my family. I don't rely on stimulus checks and or the government to take care of my family. It will take me no where but the dang projects if I did.” I found this extremely rude because it sounded like he was trying to insinuate I myself rely on stimulus checks and government help to support my daughter and I. Overall this was a terrible experience. He made the booking error and spread himself too thin and expected me to accommodate his mistake and although I was willing to meet in the middle and agree to the Saturday pick up he was not willing to accommodate the extra hour I requested and decided to go back on his word. He continued to threaten to cancel my rental and eventually did just to screw me over. In the future he needs to do a better job at planning/ bookings and communicating any changes made to the original plan in a timely manner. As well as not expecting clients to accommodate him and his mistakes. Thankfully I was about to find another, less problematic rental company that was able to accommodate me on such short notice. Read moreI ordered the wet/dry Party Castle jumper since the party was scheduled on a ridiculously hot day. I thought we'd only get minor use of it, but it was honestly so much fun and kept us all cool. A couple of us adults got in on the action with the kids, which I recommend all able-bodied adults do (your inner child will greatly thank you). The only downside is that you will end up with some bruising, but it's totally worth it. The guys were early and worked quickly to set it up and tear it down (they were a little later than quoted, but not by too much).
