I drove by this place around 1 pm Saturday April 11,2020. The sign outside said five navel oranges for one dollar. I made a mental note to stop by on my way home. I stopped by at 4 pm., I went to the large table where the navel oranges were and on the table a sign was posted. One dollar a lb. I asked the cashier about the five navel oranges for one dollar and she said they were different navel oranges. Also the sign outside had cardboard covering the original price. A family member bought a walnut in bulk and paid $50, so I decided to buy one today and she was going to charge me $54. When I said yesterday you charged $50 for it. She basically said take it or leave it. They did have a sign $1.79 per pound, but they did not have a sign if you were to buy it In bulk. I believe it is 30 lbs. Cons: There were a good amount of flies, I guess it can't be helped since it's an open air market... Most of the potatoes were greenish and the nectarines were too mushy today.
The cashier was less than welcoming too. She seemed more inherited in her phone.
I would still recommend this market but would encourage the store to clean a little more and separate the over-ripe fruit...
