Dewey Pest & Termite Control — Local services in Rancho Santa Margarita

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR PEST CONTROL! They pulled me in with promises and lies about what they could do about our pest issues, and then when I discussed it with the office, they simply stated that the sales people "should not have said that because we don't do that"....well, that doesn't help me one bit, and they certainly didn't give me any options to work out the problem, or let me out of my "contract", even though I went into it with false information. They came to my home once and are now sending me to collections because I "cancelled" my contract (when i moved out of the area) - and are CHARGING ME AN ADDITIONAL FEE! I had no problem paying for services rendered (even though they were not anywhere close to as thorough as promised), but they have the audacity to charge me for cancelling even though they completely agreed that the sales people lied to me....this company needs to learn the definition of "customer service", "business ethics", and...

Called at set up appointment to spray for ants. No follow up call about when planned to show. Got a call from the tech at 2PM saying at my house. He was polite, but I told him I wasn't near my house and received no approximation, even though I called day of that morning and the person I spoke with didn't have me on the schedule. I was told by the exterminator that he'd come back and what day/time. Told him day/time available and no one showed.

It's too bad. I'm willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt once, but not twice. Worth zero stars. Would never do business with...

We recently had an ant problem at my house. We tried store bought products and also called other pest control companies. But we ended up calling the Santa Margarita Dewey Pest control. They were very pleasant on the phone. They sent out the technician the next day. Our tech was named Jon. He was on time and very personable. He took a look at our ant situation. He explained what and how he was going to treat the ants. He even gave us some information on how ant colonies work!
