I am very disappointed in the management of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. My family and I, 7 of us in total, decided to come to the faire and purchased sunset tickets for 10/11/2025. When we arrived we needed King's Mint. I ordered $200 worth, as did my sister in law. I did not check my amount of mint as my husband and I frequently visit the faire and have never encountered a problem, and neither did my sister in law. After getting more than halfway into the faire we decided to grab food and my sister in law discovered she only had $100 in kings mint. Her boyfriend immediately went to the kings mint booth to let them know about the discrepancy. The response he received was "We were short on King's Mint, but we did not say anything because we knew you would be back for it". This was totally unacceptable. They did give him the $100 he was owed so in that sense yes they did rectify the situation. This prompted me to check my mint, and I was shorted $40. Again they did give me the $40 owed, after we went back up the the booth, and rectified this. Seeing as how it took an hour to rectify this situation, and we only purchased sunset tickets (4hours), we requested a refund on our 7 tickets. The manager who helped us said that they would process the refund on Monday. Monday and Tuesday go by and we do not hear anything from the Faire and I received the message below this morning, replied, and have yet to hear back. I am appalled by the way this situation was handled especially with the countless times back and forth and the amount of our time that was wasted. Not to mention the dishonestly from the employee at the mint booth. Please when you visit take the time to count your mint.
Good morning Samantha,
Regarding your request to have your Faire Sunset 2025 tickets refunded, we wanted to reach out and let you know the situation has been rectified to the necessary extent and your tickets will not be refunded. We deeply apologize for the experience you encountered at our Kings Mint booth. After rectifying the situation, i.e. providing the cash difference to you, our employee should not have promised the refund you requested, and we sincerely apologize for the miscommunication. We have taken steps to ensure there will not be issues with mint or issue rectifications in the future and we thank you for bringing it to our attention.
We hope the rest of your visit was enjoyable.

Read moreBeen coming here for years and decided to bring our kitten in in a bag and leash trained and everything for a safe venture into the faire and was stopped and told by the so called (owner) that she will not be allowed in even if shes trained and secure.
They showed a no other animals then dogs but it was deep in their policy manual and hard to find. If they are that against it they should have it posted in the main site so this doesn't happen. Also no employees knew about no cats rule as they all loved to she her.
Shows how much this place is with keeping their staff in the know.

Read morePA Renn Faire is awesome!!! Easy to get to, parking is a breeze! My only complaint ever on any review is that the Grilled cheese was absolute trash this year. Cold bread and not melted cheese... But seriously we all know what we're getting food wise when we go... SMOKED TURKEY LEGS! The beer onsite is excellent as well. The shows are awesome! This is for everyone. Go check it out! Dress up or don't. No one cares and everyone is having...
