Gem Garden — Local services in Rapho Township

I took a trip out to Gem Garden on Sunday looking for a very specific gift for my sister. I scoured every display case they had, hawkeyeing every piece of jewelry looking for the right one for my sister. Boy oh boy do they have a little bit of everything. I tell you what I would have walked away with the whole store if I had the money too. The sales associate who helped me was phenomenal. I explained the type of ring I was looking for and the price I could afford and she went above and beyond helping me. I only wish I could remember her name, but I give her a huge thumbs up for her patience with me. I even got to spend a few minutes trying on some very beautiful engagement rings and I'll definitely be back to purchase one for my upgrade in the future. Once we found the ring, or two, the sales associate wrapped the rings up for me, and I tell you what just the wrapping alone looks like a million bucks. They offer unbeatable prices and are really geared toward helping you find what you are looking for and if they don't have something that matches what you want, they will find it for you. This place is a gem!!! Heh, seriously! I’ve been in twice and left happy and shining with special pieces, on both occasions. The ladies who work there are so lovely and just add that extra oomph of experience! We had delightful conversations. They were full of knowledge and happily guided in the showing and telling of each piece I showed interest in. I’ve actually learned about things I’ve never even heard of!! I like my semiprecious gems in their original mineral form (former geologist), and GG has a wonderful selection. Plus many expensive gems, e.g., ruby (red corundum) and emerald (beryl) in low grade form showing natural crystal formation. This place is a candy store for me!!! My geologist husband bought the ruby in this photo for Valentines Day. And they even took off 10% for the holiday! I asked them why, when people are buying anyway. Clerk shrugged and smiled.
