I am sorry to say that the last experience I had here will prevent me from coming here ever again. I am on the committee for a Church camp that I am involved with to collect items for our annual benefit auction. I had called in to the Home Decor Warehouse in July and spoke to the owner who said he would be willing to donate. I doubled checked with them through Facebook Messenger a few days before I was going to pick up the donation and whomever answered my message assured me the time I had requested for pick up would be fine. When I walked in the door, I had asked the older lady at the counter if I may pick up the donation. She very abruptly told me that "they had given out all of their funds for donations" and that I should see myself out. I told her that I spoken to the owner about a donation and had explained everything to him about the organization requesting the donation. She told the man nearby to get me something off the clearance rack and then interrogated me very rudely about what the donation would be used for and how the business would be recognized. I have never in my life been treated by such disrespect by a business. The auction team I am a part of has decided we will no longer even consider asking this business for donations because of this woman's actions. She is and was a very poor representation of friendly and helpful customer service. If you're looking for donations, do yourself a favor and pass this...
Read moreIf it would allow me to do 0 stars I would!! I've been here with my family many times and have always spent between $100-$200. I will never go back after the owner, Mark I believe, approached us in a very confrontational way. He told me we were abusing his property and that we should just look and that we were not able to touch anything. I have two daughters whom are very gentle, my husband and I strive to be and make our children good people. I have never incurred such rudeness and from the owner nonetheless. This man is despicable and it's a shame because we really liked this store once upon a time. I resent that my three year old daughter saw this rude, uncalled for interaction from which she felt like she had done something wrong. I guess HomeGoods will be getting our business...
Read moreEvery time we go there the lady upfront is rude. She is very disrespectful to customers and probably should sell her business to someone that appreciates customers. Latest was being told I had to pay cash for a couple things that were discounted. They totaled well over $25 and I also had over $100 in other things. No where is there a sign saying if it’s marked 50% off you need to pay cash. She needs to stay home and let the other friendly people run the business. I’m done giving her my money! And for crying out loud provide a decent indoor bathroom for customers. Who wants to come there and use a portable bathroom out in the parking lot...
