Dollar General — Local services in Ray City

This location is terrible. 110 and had a few coupons clipped. Nothing crazy, I don't coupon for a living or anything. Just like the thigh off 25 for Saturdays and like two other coupons. I went around the store looking for what I needed, and when I came upon a clearance rack I asked a person I assume to be an employee what the prices were because it wasn't marked but there was multiples of it on the rec clearly labeled clearance. She just got huffy and puffy with me and said if it's not labeled then it isn't clearance and not everything on the clearance rack is clearance. I just kind of moved on and walked away from her since she had a negative attitude. I finished my shopping and went to the register entered my phone number and the coupons were into playing. I reviewed them with the cashier and she just kept apologizing to the person behind me that I was using coupons and that it would be a longer wait because of that. Just rude to begin with. Since she was having trouble figuring it out I asked if she could grab a manager because maybe they could assist us. She grabbed the manager in low and behold it was the one that was rude to me earlier. The coupon that wasn't applying was a buy one DiGiorno pizza, get a free Pepsi code 2 l. It didn't say Pepsi 2 L it said pepsico. So any products from the PepsiCo line should apply. But it wouldn't and they refused to do anything in an effort to make it right. I asked if they could just discount $2 since the coupon went in and apply even though that was less than the total cost of the 2 L and they were...

The customer service there is appalling. My elderly father cannot work the self checkouts. He also pays in cash, which if you know anything about the self checkout at dollar general in Ray city, is that it does not accept cash. There is absolutely no one working up there, greeting patrons and assisting them with checking out. The staff members up there, on the occasions I’ve been in there, are always on their phones or in the back office, sitting around twiddling their thumbs. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if there wasn’t any lack of organization in the store. Everytime I go to this store the cart's (if there are any ), are always getting caught on over hang either from the aisles or stuff on the floor. There is obviously many problems with this store and I’m writing this to see the problems fixed. I’ve lived in Ray city my whole life, and know that the Dollar general is the heart of the town. I remember going into the original Dollar general and feeling the warmth and hospitality that I appreciate in a community store, but I do not feel that way with this new store, and many people feel the same way. In my opinion Dollar general needs to bring that feeling back before they loose all their business to the dollar tree/family dollar that opened up next door, because with how my impressions of this store are I will not...

Has alot of stuff but somewhat messy and unorganized. I refuse to buy produce from here again always smells and last time I bought lettuce it had questionable brown gunk inside of the head of lettuce so yeah never again. Lines are somewhat long depending on the time of day but that is most small stores. I recommend for if you are in a hurry and need to just buy something really quick this would be a good...
