If I could give zero stars, I would. This just might be the venue that will get Ed Morse leadership visibility. I ordered a 2021 Ford Bronco with Mertz Ford, Millstadt, IL Aug 14, 2021. Unfortunately Mertz was closed in Feb of this year, but I had option to move my order to another dealership. I chose Ed Morse, as I felt I’d get better service with a smaller dealership versus the local “big” companies. I was promised an update early March on my order and that everything would be done to get me in my new Bronco. Weeks went by, and I heard nothing. When I called, I was notified the dealer-to-dealer transfer was still being worked and there was numerous parts the factory had on back order. I would continue to call every couple of weeks for an update…me, the supposed customer. Always the same, waiting on parts. This continued to Aug of this year, where I grew fed up and started calling Ford directly. Let me tell you, comedy show. Every support rep would tell me something different. I received promises I would hear from district/regional manager…crickets. I finally went to Ed Morse in person to fuss and was told by Mike Rich (he is a friendly guy, trying his best) that I’d receive a call by a senior manager, Tom…again crickets. Well, today I went in to renew my order from a 21-22-23, and was notified that the color in my contract (cyber orange) is no longer offered. That’s not on Ed Morse, per se’, but on Ford not fulfilling its contracts. But, if I worked for Ed Morse, I’d be screaming at whichever Ford corporate manager I could get a hold of on behalf of my customers. Long story folks, but do yourself a favor. If you’re looking for a new car, don’t waste your time with Ford or Ed Morse. We bought an Acura RDX from Mungenast, St Louis.
