This is actually two reviews in one.

THE FIRST: Just two days before our daughter’s graduation from high school, our water heater burst in our garage at 8PM. We called our insurance who called SERVPRO for us. Mike was here within one hour and got equipment situated to dry things out; he left by 10:00 PM. The next day, Marty and Tom and some other people (sorry I forgot your names), came out and cleaned up the mess and got the water heater out of the garage. It was apparently mostly filled with water and about 1/3 filled with sediment (VERY HEAVY). They got it out of the garage, got the drywall out that got wet, and even talked to our plumber that came by to get things figured out on how to proceed. They were all VERY professional and quick! They started just after 8:00 AM and were done by 10:15 AM.

The Second: One week later, while remodeling our bathroom, we found some severe water damage and mold behind our shower/tub area. We called our insurance who sent us to SERVPRO. Two individuals (sorry, I don’t remember their names) came out that day and set up the equipment to dry out the room. Then the next day, Mike came out to give us an estimate. It wouldn’t be covered by insurance, because it had apparently been going on a while and our insurance didn’t cover for “hidden” damage. We kept with SERVPRO as the price was right for the work that was needed. A few days later (after everything dried out), Marty and Tom came out to clean out the mold and seal it so we can finish our bathroom remodel. Everyone was so professional and nice. If it's clean rugs, thoughtful, quality service and a reasonable price you are looking for, from my viewpoint, you will likely not find a better experience than with Servpro. When I purchased my home about a year ago, there was not time to clean the rugs, and because the former owner utilized a swamp cooler and frequently had the windows open, there was a lot of Red Bluff dust embedded in the carpet over the years, and they looked tired and a little grimy. I shopped around and asked questions (would there be residue on the vintage wood furniture? how much water, if any, would be used in the cleaning process? would there be extra charges after the estimate?) The cheerful young woman at the office found a supervisor to answer my questions, and within two days Adam was at my door, and carefully measured the rooms, explained the approximate time needed as well as the exact cost--and most importantly--he LISTENED to questions I had and address my concerns. The entire cleaning for three rooms and a hallway took less than two hours--and miracle or miracles!--it looks pretty much like a new life for the carpets--with a light green popping out from what used to be slightly brown, and, as the company uses no masking scent, a fresh quality which enriches my home. This Servpro North Shasta team is the BEST! When tenants vacated our rental home we had a home inspector, Don Henson, come in to help us evaluate the work needed, primarily odor! After inspection he immediately suggested we call Servpro for assistance. Ethan M from Servpro was there the next day and got the ball rolling. Ethan, Devon, Bev, and one or two members that I did not meet, worked above and beyond the call of duty. Our rental home was scrubbed from ceiling to floor, in and out of every nook and cranny, every fixture! The floors were all steam cleaned, and the carpets were fluffed with a "rake". They finished with a thermal fog and deodorizer. Mike in the office, and Ethan guided us through the process of filing an insurance claim, and kept us advised and informed throughout the process. They called daily to check our satisfaction with their work, and to let us know what to expect next. They have also recommended professionals outside of their scope of work to make repairs. I sincerely hope to never "need" them again, but would not hesitate to call for any cleaning or restoration needs, in a rentals or my personal home.
