What a fantastic spa! From the second I walked in I was greeted with friendly, helpful faces. I was immediately offered a warm neck wrap, which I happily accepted, more than once throughout the afternoon. Everyone who passed by me waiting made sure I knew of the snack and flavored water and hot beverages available to me.
My first service was a dermal facial with Katelyn, and although it was a little painful at times, I am still glowing from all her hard work. I did not want to leave that room. It smelled so nice, everything was so clean, and every product that was used on me smelled and felt delightful. An added bonus, Katelyn was a pleasure to spend time with. I will be coming back again to see her, without a doubt!
The waiting area in between services was small, but the curtains between the main room and this room made it cozier. I am happy that I was the only one in there. I relaxed with my flavored water and crackers until my masseuse, Gilda walked in. I received a 50 minute deep tissue massage, and for an added perk, she used a warm bamboo shoots for the tougher areas. I am still a little sore, but I know there were a lot of knots she needed to work out. I loved every second of it and can't wait to go back for another treatment.
My last service was a pedicure with Jennifer. You are seated in these comfy, unique chairs, looking out to the golf course, while your feet are in this lavender water. My pedicure was the prefect end to my afternoon. Jennifer did sure a great job, and I give her props for dealing with my neglected black polished toes.
Each service went over and beyond any service I have received in the past. The extra massages in all of my services really were the cherry on top of a perfect visit. This spa is so clean and so relaxing, you'd be silly not to try this place out. Check out their website, they have specials for Mother's Day coming up.
Thank you ladies for being apart of my long overdue "treat yo-self" week. I look forward to scheduling my next visit, hopefully with a spa buddy!
Thank You! Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can give this spa a 2 star because I have visited a few times, and I didn't have a great experience for the price for massages. I have been for massage and although my therapist was ok she seemed a bit inexperienced and that is ok, we all need to learn. My biggest peeve was that we weren't offered any thing to drink when we arrived, and no place to put our coats. There were 2 or 3 girls standing at the desk laughing and fooling around and I had a question on my paperwork and I wasnt' directed on who to speak to. After my massage I even stated I was thirsty and I wasn't offered a drink. I wanted to fix my make up and I was put in the salon at SOMEONES station to do my make up. If I was a stylist I certainly wouldn't want anyone at my station applying make up. I felt very strange like I was in someones area. I have returned and seen Robin for a facial and it was fantastic. I recently just called to make another appointment with Robin and I was told she left and was given no info. I only visited this spa to see Robin but tried massages when I wasn't able to see her. I vowed to never go back if I couldn't see Robin so sadly i will not be returning. The spa is pretty and all, but for the location, I feel you should be more courteous when greeting clients who are spending a lot of money. More costly for more local establishments. Rehobeth is not the town to be priced so high. I could sustain it to see Robin but I will never return. Management needs to know that the place to do make up area should be in a different spot from the salon. I felt terrible doing my make up there. Appearance of the spa was pretty but management seems...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an meh experience. My face smelled like hair permanent solution I think the product was rotten. Also I had mask left on my face after the facial. When I went told the esthetician she handed me a face cloth without an apology or offering to help in anyway. It was shorter than I was told by about 7 minutes. I don't see how my skin benefited from any of the treatments after the mask because the mask was not removed properly. She did not suggest any products or offer any other services for example I could have used a wax - not offered almost like I was bothering her by being there.
This was not a discounted service. I would expect this type of a facial if I found it on Groupon or something like it. There are better day spas int he area with nicer resting rooms for the same cost with locker rooms. Myself and my two sisters went in for a treat on my mothers anniversary of her death day we were looking forward to putting on our robes and relaxing together. No robes no resting room. We went in with our clothes on were not offered lockers there were I think 3 probably reserved for a full day service? Not sure.
When she asked what kind of facial I wanted she did not give me any advice on which one to get - she named a few as if I was a pain for not being better prepared for the question - honestly I look at them as the professional however I did find out that she was a cosmetologist first so I am not even sure if she was in fact a esthetician . It certainly didn't seem it. Before going here - try other spas in the area. My best advice is to look elsewhere - it is not cheaper so do not...
