It's the city only supermarket which results in noncompetitive pricing. In simple terms.. The goods are higher here for a small town income base. Locals have a tendency to go shopping to other counties for better prices which hurts this city and county tax base and growth. The fresh vegetables and fruits are overly ripe and will go bad quickly after purchase. I can only speak on these items lately. The location is great inside the city limits. Plenty of parking. The atmosphere is good with friendly folks at checkout. They do offer mobile device pay also which is great. I am not sure how this location gathers feedback to help service the community. This could overall help the community and the store to ask for feedback. ...

I called and asked do They have any crab legs and somebody said we donāt sell them, hold on let me ask.. I said yes you sell them ,do you have any? They ask the manager ,the manager says yes we sell them..but are they asking do we have any in? Flat out āYESā ... there you have it... They never know what they carry in their own store.. No option of being connected to the meat department I guess, cashiers always answer and half of them donāt know what to say when you ask for certain things...Frustrating...

Only been here a couple if times but with the cashiers knowing names and ending a sale with a "Thanks Shug", you know it's laid back and their focus is on doing a good job. Plenty of laughs, eagerness in answering questions, you find yourself wondering if you stepped back in time. You further start to wonder how come those big stores can't do the same.
