This is the best price to quality ratio of meat in the entire Lehigh Valley that I have come across. I'm a dietary carnivore for the last 5 years and I know quality meats. My view is that "the only bad meat is no meat" but I can tell the animals are raised w/ an excellent natural diet, in particular, due to the way the organ meats taste. Very clean and fresh which indicates a mostly grass fed diet compared to the more metallic taste of grocery store organ meats. This is my personal test for quality meats. This place doesn't bring in packaged meats from further out of the area as some of the other vendors in this market do. This meat is locally grown & harvested by a family who all wear the butcher's ethos on their sleeves. It's the oldest butcher vendor counter in the market. The customer service is the only thing that exceeds the quality of their product. Thanks to Baringer's, I am free from the chains of an unstable grocery system and those reading this review should keep that in mind before we see another episode of panic buying which empties the shelves again. They were also very accommodating to a VERY GREEN hog farmer who couldn’t get his hogs loaded. We were scheduled and could not get the hogs delivered on our date (Was sure I had burnt my bridge with that debacle), but we were rescheduled and the staff could not have been more pleasant when I was finally able to deliver the hogs.
