I had a couple tattoos done by Tobe. He is a great artist, he charged me $500 for a coverup quarter, and $500 for another quarter. We added my business logo into what I thought was part of the second quarter of my half sleeve tattoo, and told him I would be back to tip him like I normally do. I had another appointment scheduled yesterday that I missed. I completely forgot about the appointment due to my work schedule. When Tobe reached out to me, he was very upset, said I owned him for the logo of my business like it was a 3rd tattoo, and not part of the half sleeve like we had initially talked about. I understand the need for a deposit on future work due to my missing an appointment. What I don't understand is why he decided to not want me as a client at all even after I apologized for missing the appointment and my willingness to still pay him even though I understood the situation differently than he did. As a business owner myself, I got busy and sidetracked, and I apologized in my initial response to Tobe. My last response from Tobe was to "not worry about it, I have a very booked schedule with people who want appointments with me, and know what my time is worth. I won't be tattooing you from this point on. I appreciate your business but need clients that respect my time." I respected his time, I forgot about an appointment ONE time out of 5 appointments with him.

If you schedule with Tobe be sure to keep your appointments. He doesn't reach out if you're late. This could have all been avoided if he had reached out to me yesterday. I could have readjusted my schedule to get there or we could have...

As soon as I walked into the shop the employees were talking poorly about a customer that had just walked out, I happened to know the person who was leaving, that made me feel off about the place but I went thru with the piercing. Everything seemed clean and sanitary no reason to suspect otherwise. My piercing ended up being a little off of where I wanted it but that happens. All and all if I didnt feel like leaving town I would go back, but there are for sure better...
