Willow Blu — Local services in Richland

I went searching for a vendor via IG. That's stressful in itself. I used a variety of hashtags and each time that I found an arrangement that I liked, I would go see who posted and there was a trend. Everything that I liked was created by Willow Blu. Willow Blu is who you want for your flowers, who you want to capture the theme of your wedding, who you want as your hype person for the day, they're IT!!! I can't rave enough about this business and Nichole and Amber. I walked in and told Nichole my vision and after our conversation, I left excited and confident. We communicated in between time and they were great with responding promptly, assuring me that they would capture the theme, being fair with pricing, and most importantly, Nichole and Amber alleviated the weight that a bride feels worrying about certain aspects of the wedding. I never worried about the arrangements after everything had been finalized. The day of our wedding, they captured everything beautifully. The arrangements, ESPECIALLY MY BOUQUET, were better than I had imagined. While I was getting ready they came in to congratulate us and wish us well. Those two ladies felt like my best friends at that moment. I wanted them to stay and see the magic that they had helped to create. After the wedding, we took all our flowers home. They looked beautiful at our house for the next two weeks and our house smelled wonderful that entire time. I wrote this review to say, I'm an incredibly picky person. I only trust myself to get things done. I'm incredibly skeptical. I walked away from Willow Blu that day feeling confident and trusting a business and people that I knew nothing about. I left my wedding wishing that I could preserve my bouquet because they did a great job. I sat at home wishing that all of our arrangements could last forever. Poor communication & customer service. Had a great consultation call & spent an hour discussing my floral vision for my wedding. Received a quote back from this florist and worked with them to adjust the quote to fit our budget. Was excited to work with them. Explained to them via email how excited I was to work with them & that we would be booking as soon as I got the deposit money from my in laws. The business never responded to this email. I sent another email after this one providing an update of an expected date that i would have the deposit money from my in laws & again stating how excited I was to work with them. No response received from the business. I then email them when that date rolls around and tell them I am ready to put our deposit down. They finally email me back and let me know that my date has unfortunately been booked and they can no longer accommodate us. While I do understand that my date was not secured until the deposit was paid, I do think the correct thing to do as a business would have been to respond to my emails when I provided a clear timeline of the expected deposit timeframe & give me a heads up that my date was at risk of being lost. I called the florist to express my concerns and was told I would get a call back & then never received a call back, only an email response the next day that was unapologetic and basically said sorry you only had 30 days to reserve your date, no acknowledgement of their lack of communication. Let me tell you about Willow Blu. They are exceptional! Exceptional doesn’t even truly explain how amazing this company and the people that work there are, they are just THE BEST. Nichole and Amber and their whole crew made my wedding day the fairytale wedding of my dreams!! The flowers were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and everyone at my wedding said the same. They are so personal, thoughtful, and intentional with every detail and every meeting leading up to the big day. They truly made me feel like I was the only bride they were working with. During the initial consultation, Nichole took note of everything that I wanted and they went above and beyond making sure it was better than I ever could have imagined. Amber is also a very talented artist and painted the most adorable champagne bottle that was detailed to match my flowers and my husband and I’s camping lifestyle, we will cherish this forever!
