Depend on the fact that you can't depend on their posted hours. After spending the day in Steubenville with my 89 year old mother waiting on my 90 year old father to die, after the visit by the priest, after the visit from the hospice nurse and finally the final ambulance ride, all while watching the snow pile up, my wife and I decided that on our way home to Richmond, we'd just grab something from the deli at Richmond Country Market. As we had to stop for gas for the snowblower, and having seen the special board out front earlier in the day, salami and provolone cheese seemed just the Italian quick comfort food we needed, and on sale according to what I read on the way past earlier. So, we passed the Kroger in Steubenville (in the snow) and we passed the Kroger in Wintersville (in the snow) because Richmond Country Market seemed more convenient. The wife could fill the gas can while I darted inside for a quick deli order. We prefer to spend locally and this should have been a quick stop. I was greeted when I walked in at 7:39 PM, but when I headed to the Deli, I was informed that the Deli is closed because it's all cleaned up and we are closing in 20 minutes. When I mentioned that I only wanted salami and cheese I was informed that the slicer is already cleaned. Do you have a Knife? I'd be happy with a chunk of each tossed on the scale. Sorry, all cleaned up. As I left, I did apologize for my uncooperative dying father, otherwise I could have been there earlier, although I'm not sure what earlier is, as the posted hours stated open until 8 PM. Wanted chicken and Jojo potatoes. Lady said she thought she had enough chicken, but not potatoes. We said we would wait for fresh chicken and potatoes. She said No I'll give you this chicken and it will be 10 minutes for potatoes. We wanted all fresh. No that was impossible. Just close the hot food section if you don't want to make hot food! Sad, because their chicken was great...

I love this store, I live in Richmond and it’s a nice clean place to stop and get something to eat or drink and if I need gas and all the employees are very friendly, keep up the good work everyone! Just one more thing I really wish you guys could stay open till 10 PM, because I work till nine by the time I get out here you’re closed that’s the only downfall other than that...
