Jax Pizza — Restaurant in Richmond

This is the last time we will order here. The previous four times we called ahead, the food was never ready on time. It was always at least a 20-45 minutes wait AFTER the time given when we called. Today, we called and asked specifically to have the food by a certain time, and gave 45 minutes for the order. I arrived five mninutes late, and I still had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be handed my now cold food. To make it even worse, the order was half wrong and the food was dried out from sitting for so long and tasted awful.

I have tried many times to come back, because usually the food is amazing. But every single time we end up waiting no less than 20 minutes after the pickup time (that they usually give). I understand that foodservice is difficult to predict when it comes to giving pickup times, but the other pizza places in this county have no problem getting it right and these guys have been open long enough to know better by now.

Today was the only day I needed this to be done on time, but I guess no one elses' schedules matter.

We pass through Richmond a lot and on the way home we call ahead and order hoagies. Our favorite place used to be Giannamore's in Wintersville, Ohio, but this is now been our favorite it's less expensive and the hoagies are great and they're only $6 for a large one. The regular pizza is only $0.90 per slice but as all things that could change. UPDATE!! We stopped in today and found out that a new owner had just taken over. Jax Pizza in richmond Ohio

Picked up a pizza today… could hear the guy in the back talking about the customer that just walked out the door. Also the way he talked to his staff was horrible. Pizza is mediocre not the best pizza I ever had nothing to write home about. I will not be going back here again.
