I'd say if you love your family member don't let them come here. My mother was there after battling doubled pneumonia the antibiotics messed up her kidneys so she needed to have dialysis. She had state-funded health care this was the option that was given to us. We know that places like this are not always ideal but usually if you have an attentive family it can work. But we did not take into account the incompetence of the staff. So her dialysis ports were no longer needed because her kidneys started functioning the way they were supposed to but due to everything she sit for nearly two weeks with her ports still in. Which the staff improperly maintained. So she got an infection on her port lines which led straight to her heart. Destroying her heart and killing her. Crooked, crooked, crooked. Do NOT put your loved one there. Substandard care. The worst part though is that they let people with clearly no understanding of what they are signing for sign for services outside of their means. Then, after taking a client for $30k + in “agreed to” services they send a sheriff to a dementia patient”s home to collect that last $1300. What’s even worse is that said client just had a disability claim that came through and it was communicated to the idiot handling their AR that they would be receiving payment in full within 3 weeks. I recently had to put my sweet mama into a nursing home. This was an extremely traumatic experience for me. I love her so much and I felt very guilty that I was not able to take care of her myself. The staff here immediately made me feel better. I feel like she is in loving and very capable hands. I always go and visit her and there has never been a time I showed up that that I felt she was being treated poorly. I am very thankful that they are such a caring staff.
